My obsession with FarCry became an obsession with Nick Rye and the actor behind it all

True story. I used to play 5 just to have Nick to hang out with and now I've gone through about half of his actors stuff outside of gaming and have a slightly abnormal obsession that I am perfectly ok with. Thank you Steve

Only you

After playing all of jacobs missions, you just cant hear only you by the platters without him coming to mind as if thise missions have changed you and it'll be a very long time before you return to normal, but besides that when you think about jacobs speech about empires rising and falling and how america is next might not be wrong. Like as a european it seems like the country of usa is falling apart and might fall as jacob says, am i insane or do any of you think the same?

I was living in Mexico from 2017 to 2018, and for the first time I really could preorder physical games, and one of them was, to the surprise of none, far cry 5

So I'm looking for some info about the physical pre order bonus I received, because I can't find a thing about it anywhere.

That wasn't the Ally bear, but a wild bear.

I was doing this mission solo, ran out of health packs, low on ammo, only had ammo for this one revolver, couldn't find everyone so I made them come to me, and was trying to funnel them to conserve what ammo I had. Then I just hear, "it's a g.d. bear!" followed by victory.

Bunker in farmers field uk

Does anyone know what this would've been used for?

I was thinking there was a hidden room behind a bookcase but im not sure the wall felt solid but there was a doorframe and a small room as you descended the ladder and the photos are from the second larger room.

Is there a chance they concreted off a larger bit of the bunker but I didnt see any ventilation like the other bit.

Issues modding FC5 with Resistance Mod

Hey guys, I need some help here. I’m trying to install mods for Far Cry 5 (Steam version, game installed on an external SSD F:) using the latest Mod Installer / Resistance Mod.

Here is the issue: In the Mod Installer menu, everything looks perfectly fine, no red lines or missing dependency warnings. I select the mods, click Install, and it says "COMPLETED - Packages installed successfully".

However, as soon as I boot the game and it loads, a black screen pops up inside the game with a "Low Privileges" error, and the mod list shows red bars for missing dependencies.

Here is everything I’ve already tried:

  • Verified Far Cry 5 game files on Steam (it found 2 corrupted files and redownloaded them before I installed the mods again).
  • Completely closed Steam and Ubisoft Connect via Task Manager before running the installer.
  • Cleared the ModinstallerTemp folder.
  • Changed Windows folder permissions to "Full Control" on the game's root directory and the bin folder.
  • Ran both FC5ModInstaller.exe and FarCry5.exe as Administrator.
  • Disabled both Steam and Ubisoft Connect In-Game Overlays.
  • Pointed the directory path directly to .../bin/FarCry5.exe.
  • Launched the game directly through the "P" (Play) button inside the Mod Installer.

Even after all of this, the game still refuses to load the mods and gives the privilege error. Is anyone else experiencing this with the current version or knows a workaround? Thanks!
