Today was the first time in this whole practice month that I decided to grab a mechanical pencil and a piece of paper. Oh boy did that feel better than using my phone and a (useless) stylus.

Just gotta remember how to do a thing so I can try and color them digitally.

Like it really does have a different feel to it.

Yeah, I don't have much to yap about today. Kinda been a slow morning and I kinda want to get back into playing FGO to finish OC2. Oh and to farm some quick EXP for some servants. So close to my next 120 servant. Gotta get those 120 SQ somehow.

It’s the 9th Anniversary over on the NA side of the game! Space Ereshkigal is coming out very soon, and to anyone pulling for her I do wish you the best of luck. Personally, I will have to skip her as my (mostly) F2P ass can't afford to use my pulls on her with two other servants coming soon. Those being BB Dubai and Kazuradrop.

Oh how I’m hoping to pull BB Dubai the same way it happened with the original Summer BB. But I don't have that new player lucky anymore so who knows!!

Anyways, that did get me thinking. Dang, Summer Miyu really is a year away now. We are so close to being able to have a full Prillya team, with the three originals and the three summers. Just one more year. Just… one… more year…

Uh… Yeah, looking at next year's lineup of summer servants, other than Miyu, I’m excited for Tiamat and that's it. Luckily I believe they are the same banner, so it’s gonna be a very good banner for me.

Now for a Prisma Illya fun fact! Did you know that the Miyu render for the Licht Nameless Girl movie has an error? Yeah, Miyu’s hairpins are the wrong ones. This isn't in the movie itself, but it is in both the character render and movie poster with all three girls front and center. This was pointed out by someone after almost 5 years of the movie’s release due to official figures being made on these character renders. It’s a small detail, but still a little surprising how that went under the radar for almost 5 years.

I figured this was gonna happen, but not so soon. Really did believe this would get me when I was more confident, but here we are.

This was originally gonna be a different piece. The original idea has been pushed until later because of hands. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the handy part of our body is what has defeated me today. Why are they so difficult to draw?

And so to get a piece out for the day, I had to rush this one. Apologies for the shadows. It’s all trial and error when it comes to practicing anything, especially when it comes to scraping the rust off a skill. Today was an error. I just don't want to keep disappointing myself. I’ll see to that Day 4 is better than today. Still don't see anything crazy coming up soon, but maybe something to push me further a bit as an artist.

I’m not quitting. Not this soon. Not for a while. I’ll be back tomorrow.

I was never good with making names. My name (illyaBB) comes from two characters: Illya and BB. Yes, that BB. Illya being a favorite, and BB being my first 5 star in FGO when I started playing. It’s just that simple.

Hello anyone who sees this. I don't know you and you don't know me (I hope), my name is illyaBB and I am here to draw Illya for a month. This is more for myself to hopefully come out this month a better artist.
