Rate my Fiarrari

I have a 1995 fiat cinquecento that I modified a bit to look like a Ferrari, and I have to tell you reactions on the street are overwhelming and always positive. Right now it’s in the shop being swapped from 700cc to 1.4 16v 😀

Chronicles of the First-Generation Fiat Panda

Production Years: 1980 to 2003

One afternoon in Sardinia -Italy, a Fiat Panda waited for a parking space to become available. A stranger approached the passenger-side and leaned against the window frame.

The stranger showed no interest in the driver. The confused driver preferred to wait for the next move.

The stranger, after finally breaking eye contact with the car, uttered three words to the driver as if he were intending to save his life:

"Non lo venda "

Don't sell it.

With nothing more to say, he walked away, leaving the driver with a message that seemed to have come from heaven.

If this is the first time you've heard of this model, you might not understand the weight of this stranger's pain. Theres not much more to say other than the following:

"The speedometer broke and the repair cost 15 euros."

Removing passenger seat on fiat panda

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask for information from anyone with mechanical expertise in removing seats on a Fiat Panda. I own a 2022 Panda Hybrid Fire Fly, and I wanted to temporarily remove the passenger seat to build a wooden platform to sleep on, extending from the bottom of the trunk to the dashboard. The mechanical part of removing the seat is simple; what worries me is disconnecting the 2 connectors that link the seats' safety systems. The connectors are one green and one black, located in a sort of black plastic box. Has anyone ever done a job like this? If the car is turned on without the seat, is there a risk of warning lights coming on that would require diagnostic intervention? I was also thinking about simply removing the backrest and leaving the seat cushion, but I haven't figured out how to do that and I haven't found any tutorials — it seems complicated. Thanks for any replies

Fiat Ducato 2008

Hi

I have bought a Fiat Ducato 2008 and have this problem, since a couple of days:

In the Dash when i turn the ignition on a couple of lamps stay off or are only glimming (for example the oil light) when i turn on the car, the battery light stays on. I measured the Voltage 14.4V so perfectly fine, since i just exchanged the Alternator to a 180A one since i have 2 Batteries on board.

There are no DTCs in the Computer. I already changed the main mass cable in the Engine room and cleaned the battery mass cable.

What else can i do ?

Ma voiture a 7 ans pensez vous que ça urge réellement ?
Je fais des petits trajet avec environ 20km par semaine et encore..

Merci d’avance

Fiat 500 asks for PIN code for car radio. How to fix? Help!

Hi! I have a 2008 Fiat 500.

The radio has been locked for a while and requires a PIN.

Now, reading online, it seems this code is written somewhere on the card, which I don't have.

How can I fix this?

FIAT Topolino launched in the US two weeks ago. Someone already got one to 51 mph

The US-spec FIAT Topolino is limited to around 19 mph from the factory.

Apparently, that wasn't going to last very long in America.

Only about two weeks after US sales started, an aftermarket module is already being sold that bypasses the speed limiter - and they've reportedly pushed the little Topolino to 51 mph.

Because apparently 19 mph is a perfectly reasonable speed... until you sell it to Americans.

I'm genuinely impressed by how quickly the aftermarket showed up for this thing.

Would you drive a Topolino at 51 mph?

What is this on the dashboard?

mechanic at a local garage pointed out that the right side of the car (door, fenders) have been painted and that paint work was done poorly. honestly I couldn't see anything with my eyes, not even take a proper photo, but he assured me anyone with some experience will easily notice. he said it doesn't look like a factory color and it's too matte, and suggested maybe someone scraped along the door and fenders.

just a few moments ago I remembered that when my friend saw this sponge pillow thing on the dashboard he said it's the result of someone patching up a part of the dashboard (instead of replacing the entire panel) after the airbag deployed and broke it. that unfortunately didn't come to my mind while the car was still being inspected. how plausible is this explanation? now i'm suspicious if any airbag is there at all or it's all just patched up and the car repaired cosmetically but not functional air bag.

car imported from France, sold there in oct 2025, went through a few professional dealers (auto1 then idk then a local reseller in my city) and finally sold to me in june 2026 and unfortunately the maintenance documentation got lost in the process or someone purposefully withheld it from me

fiat 500 from 2008. if anything, i'll try to get it profesionally inspected at an authorised service dealer in september (unless they want to charge like pure gold)

Mr president, the 2nd Marea HLX's engine just hit the floor.

it's a donor with a rotten sill and a pretty bad legal situation, so I'm taking the engine to put it into my Marea.

Can't afford a Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6? Then how about a six-wheeled Fiat Panda?

Horst Koch, an official German Fiat dealer, built this one-of-a-kind vehicle in 1986 as a show car.

It was based on a standard front-wheel-drive Fiat Panda with a 70-si-vny engine.

In 2020, the car underwent a restoration.
