Hey I’m Jade, I'm a 30F artist/graphic designer currently living in LIC in New York and I’m looking to make some indie dream pop. I am a vocalist and songwriter.

My influences include Men I trust, Crumb, Hiatus Kaiyote, Mac Demarco, and Spirit Blue. I want to jam and make some great music with friends, goal is to eventually do a few gigs at local bars or cafes (who knows how far we can go). I'm currently working on music with a friend but would be great to have a group set up to work on a more regular basis as well. Ideally, the sound I'm looking to make is very similar to the influences I mentioned (soft vocals, muted 70s drums, groovy bass lines, etc)

I’m willing to travel if you have a rehearsal space (depends on how far you are.) I also have a humble set up at my place (guitar amp, bass guitar, bass amp, full mic set up, keyboard, just no drum set unfortunately) if that works better.

The music is serious. The presentation is not.

Influences are Dillinger Escape Plan, Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die, Converge, Botch, etc. I'm looking for nasty riffs, huge breakdowns, chaotic sections, and brutal vocals. I want this to be a legitimately heavy band that is fun as hell to play live.

The concept is that everyone dresses like they're going to work at a mid-level corporate office.

Button-downs. Polos. Khakis. Lanyards. Business casual.

And we treat every show like a corporate meeting.

The important part is that we never acknowledge the joke. We're completely serious about the corporate persona between songs, while the actual music is just a fucking brutal hardcore/metalcore band.

I'm in my 30s and have a job and responsibilities. I'm not trying to tour the world or make this my career. I'd like to find other people in roughly the same stage of life who still want to play heavy music.

The goal would be pretty simple:

Write original music, practice once a week/every other week, play some local shows, have a great time, go to work Monday.

I'm not looking for people who want to become rock stars. I'm looking for people who really love this kind of music and want to put together a ridiculously fun live band.

Ever wanted to be part of a music group where you actually get a say in what the group becomes?

Hi! I'm a 16-year-old singer from Belgium, and I'm looking for young musicians from anywhere in the world to build something together from the ground up.

I'm not looking for a finished, perfect band. I'm looking for people who are motivated, creative, friendly and willing to grow together. You don't need years of experience — beginners are welcome!

🎤 What is the idea?

I want to create something between a vocal group and a live band.

I'm looking for around 4–7 singers/vocalists, but I'm also interested in people who: 🎸 play guitar

🥁 play drums

🎸 play bass

🎹 play other instruments

✍️ write songs/lyrics

🎧 produce music

🎶 or simply have other musical skills they want to contribute

The exact setup isn't decided yet. That's something I want us to figure out together.

The music will mainly have influences from pop, indie, alternative and rock, but I don't want to put us in one box. I'd love for different songs to have completely different sounds and for everyone to bring their own influences.

And yes, boys and girls are both welcome! I think having different voices, personalities and musical backgrounds could make the group much more interesting.

This is NOT a dance/K-pop group. The focus is on music, vocals, instruments, songwriting, performing and creating our own sound.

🌍 Why international?

At first, the group would be completely online, since we may all live far away from each other.

We could have online meetings, work on songs together, share ideas, practise and get to know each other.

If the group actually grows into something serious, we'd eventually like to meet and work together in person when we're older and travelling becomes realistic.

So if you're from Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, the US, or literally somewhere else — you're welcome to audition.

Basic English is enough. You don't have to be fluent; we just need to be able to understand each other and work together.

🎶 What are we trying to achieve?

The long-term goal would be to create our own music, build a presence on social media and eventually release music and perform together.

Maybe it could eventually become something professional.

But we're not rushing that.

We're young, so I want this to start as a fun project where we can make friends, learn, improve and see where it takes us.

I'd much rather have someone who is passionate and willing to learn than someone who is extremely talented but doesn't want to put effort into the group.

Most importantly, I want us to actually enjoy being around each other. I want this to feel like a team and a group of friends, not a competition.

🤝 Everyone gets a voice

This is probably the most important part of the idea.

I don't want to be the person who decides everything.

The members would help decide:

the name

the concept

our musical direction

the genres/styles

the songs

how we divide parts

what we post

and where we want the group to go

I might be the person starting the project, but the group should belong to everyone in it.

🎧 How will the audition work?

This isn't a formal talent-show audition, and you don't need to be perfect.

First, you'll fill in the audition form.

Depending on your role, you'll be able to submit things such as:

🎤 Singers: a short singing video

🎸 Instrumentalists: a video of you playing

✍️ Songwriters: lyrics, a song or demo if you have one

🎧 Producers: an example of something you've produced

🌱 Beginners: whatever you can show us, being new is completely okay!

For vocals, I'd prefer no autotune or heavy vocal effects, because I want to hear what your voice naturally sounds like. You absolutely don't have to sing perfectly.

After looking through the applications, I'll contact people who seem like they could fit the group for a more personal online audition/meeting.

We'll talk, get to know each other, hear more about your music and see how we get along. 💗

Who am I looking for?

Age-wise, I'm mainly looking for people under 20, with some flexibility.

You don't need:

I’m Dinis, a 17-year-old instrumentalist/beginner producer from Portugal, and I’m currently looking for a vocalist to work with on a new song for Narcoleptic Kids!!

Narcoleptic Kids is basically my music project where I write the instrumentals and then invite different people to bring the songs to life with vocals. Kinda like a rotating cast of musicians.

I make everything on Ableton 11, and the current song is more of a dreamy, ethereal alternative rock thing. I’m looking for something atmospheric, emotional and slightly haunting, with soft/intimate vocals that can really sit inside the instrumental rather than overpower it.

I’m looking for someone who:

* Preferably is around 13–20, but I’m open to other ages too!!

* Has a voice that fits a dreamy/ethereal style

* Has some way of recording vocals

* Is willing to spend some time on the project

* Communicates well and is friendly and fun to work with!!!!!

Of course I want the song to sound great and actually go somewhere, but being chill, respectful and having fun comes first!!

You don’t need to be a professional singer. I’m much more interested in having a voice with character and emotion that fits the atmosphere than having technically perfect vocals.

I'm 17 and a mediocre guitarist and want people with wierd taste in heavy music to start a serious band(vocalist, bassist, drummer).

i want our sound to be very noisy and angsty but also comforting and melancholic at the same time. some of the bands that i take inspiration from are julie, mudhoney, nirvana, deftones, my bloody valentine and big black.

I'm really passionate about this little project and im very serious about it and would want the members to share the same passion and dedication that i have for it and to prioritize the band. De muziek krijgt vooral invloeden uit pop, indie, alternative en rock, maar ik wil ons niet in één hokje stoppen. Ik zou het tof vinden als verschillende nummers compleet andere sounds hebben en dat iedereen z’n eigen invloeden meebrengt.

En ja hoor, jongens én meisjes zijn allebei welkom! Ik denk dat verschillende stemmen, persoonlijkheden en muzikale achtergronden de groep veel interessanter kunnen maken.

Dit is GEEN dance/K-pop groep. De focus ligt op muziek, vocals, instrumenten, songwriting, live optreden en het maken van ons eigen geluid.

🌍 Waarom internationaal?

In het begin zou de groep helemaal online zijn, omdat we allemaal best ver uit elkaar kunnen wonen.

We kunnen online afspreken, samen aan nummers werken, ideeën delen, oefenen en elkaar leren kennen.

Als de groep uiteindelijk echt iets serieus wordt, willen we later natuurlijk ook eens afspreken en samen werken in het echt, als we ouder zijn en reizen realistischer wordt.

Dus kom je uit België, Nederland, het VK, Duitsland, de VS, of echt ergens anders — je mag auditie doen.

Basis Engels is genoeg. Je hoeft niet vloeiend te zijn; we moeten elkaar gewoon kunnen begrijpen en samen kunnen werken.

🎶 Wat willen we bereiken?

Het lange-termijndoel is om onze eigen muziek te maken, een plek/aanwezigheid op social media op te bouwen en uiteindelijk muziek uit te brengen en samen op te treden.

Misschien wordt het ooit zelfs iets professioneels.

Maar we haasten ons daar niet mee.

We zijn jong, dus ik wil dat dit begint als een leuk project waar we vrienden kunnen maken, kunnen leren, beter worden en zien waar het ons brengt.

Ik zie het liever met iemand die gedreven is en wil leren, dan met iemand die super getalenteerd is maar geen moeite wil steken in de groep.

Het allerbelangrijkste: ik wil dat we het echt leuk vinden om bij elkaar te zijn. Ik wil dat het voelt als een team en een groep vrienden, niet als competitie.

🤝 Iedereen krijgt een stem

Dit is waarschijnlijk het belangrijkste onderdeel van het idee.

Ik wil niet degene zijn die alles beslist.

Misschien ben ik degene die het project start, maar de groep moet van iedereen erin zijn.

🎧 Hoe werkt de auditie?

Dit is geen formele talentenjacht-auditie, en je hoeft niet perfect te zijn.

Eerst vul je het auditieformulier in.

Afhankelijk van je rol kun je dingen insturen zoals:

🎤 Zangers: een korte video waarin je zingt

🎸 Instrumentalisten: een video van jou die speelt

✍️ Songwriters: lyrics, een song of demo als je die hebt

🎧 Producers: een voorbeeld van iets dat je hebt geproduceerd

🌱 Beginners: alles wat je aan ons kunt laten zien — nieuw zijn is helemaal oké!

I'm from near Welshpool in Wales, 19M, autistic, i play guitar, I'm good at fiddling with electronics, I'm very close to my mum, and right now I'm friendless. I'm completely uninterested in "romance".

We've always found the best place for me in the alternative education community and made some excellent friends there. My upbringing has always been child-led and I've been empowered to follow my interests and self-learn at my own pace, and now after all that i do not want to move on to overly structured, scripted education such as college, or get some Sisyphean 9-5 job, especially after seeing so many people struggle. I want to do something really worthwhile that i enjoy.

We travel long distances and can meet up anywhere within about 2 hours if it's worthwhile. The rest of the information that follows is supplementary and if you can't be bothered, you needn't read it.

In my early teens i fell in with the wrong people and became friends with a couple engaging in underage sex. I wasn't yet aware of the implications of this and put up with it, even as they increasingly tried to involve me, by just treating it as a joke. Fortunately they're not in my life anymore.

My dad has nothing to do with us and my extended family has cut us out. Since i turned about 16 we've been losing my friends. Some were a bit nasty anyway, some changed and became unbearable, some vanished inexplicably. I was planning to jam and possibly form a band with 3 friends and they've completely disappeared. I'm not clingy or demanding, i have the bad examples set me by my dad and the couple i mentioned to bias me against that behaviour. I just can't understand where all my friends went.

More understandably, some have just moved on to college, and even if i wanted to, my friend group was so scattered (we had friends as far as Worcestershire) that i couldn't follow them in if i wanted to. One old friend is a Polish immigrant and would probably be looked on by the government as a squatter if he didn't take that path. He still finds time to drop me a line every few weeks.

When i was 17 i was wandering around a park with my mum while my sister hung out with her friends. I sat around, queued for the swings, wandered, i had no friends to hang with, and then someone called park security and told them i was a paedophile staring at children - in fairness i look mature and beardy. I was lucky my mum was there, and they were embarrassed when they tried to arrest a 17-year-old, but still... now I'm old, i can't go to the park and exercise, i can't wander about on my own for fear it'll happen again.

We don't live a cloistered existence, we always follow our interests and go to interesting places, but still, apparently there's not much we can do. We've searched for and continue to try neurodivergent and homeducation groups of all kinds throughout Wales and the West Midlands, but this is long enough already and i can't be bothered to write a full account to justify myself to whoever you are.

Mostly into old school black metal, raw, atmosferic stuff like early to mid 90s BM

But also interested in Death, War, Bestial, Heavy, Thrash/Speed and Doom Metal with a blackened twist, maybe even some Dungeon synth or old school symphonic Black Metal stuff.

Not into shoegaze, post, core or any new stuff like that.

I write lyrics with LHP themes as in: Satanism, The Occult, Witchcraft, Cosmic Horror, Chaos and Ancient Gods and what you would expect for this genre. If your lyrics fit the bill, then I have no problem recording them.

I have many years of experience, recording and releasing my own music. I specialize in creepy, raspy and evil sounding vocals, screams, chants and growls. I can share examples of my previous projects and bands in DM. Quick turnaround, fast production time. Open to critique and doing revisions. Let me preface this by saying that this is of course a very experimental project, and I haven't tried anything like it before.

With that out of the way, do you remember the world before streaming services? Where every week, you would talk with your friends about the latest episode of a show and speculate on what would happen next? I want to recreate that feeling and excitement with a high-concept album that tells a complete story, not just through lyrics but through metaphor, literary references, and leitmotifs. I want to make something that fans can really sink their teeth into when it comes to theorizing.

To that end, I'm looking for just about every kind of musical creative. While I myself have a background in composition, my main role would be in helping to get the songs out there to a wider audience, as well as mediating between different creatives. I want to see what a group of musicians can come up with when told to just get weird with it.

I don't have a specific story picked out (although I have several ideas), and I certainly don't want to stick to one genre. I want to get a group of people from as different of backgrounds as possible and give them total creative freedom.
