I’m trying to build a real online metalcore project/band called After the Garden. I’m a bassist, I write all the lyrics, and I already have demos and songs in progress. I’m not expecting perfection or industry level production. I just want people who are actually motivated.

Every single person I’ve found either:

• disappears after a week
• says they’re interested then never sends anything
• can’t record
• or clearly doesn’t take it seriously

I’m looking for:

• vocalist (clean + harsh)
• guitarist
• drummer

18+ only. Online project. You NEED to be able to record your parts remotely.

I’ve been writing a lot of indie/DIY songs and ideas, and recording a few demo tracks. I can play guitar and sing, though I’m not technically great at either. Still, I believe creativity matters more than perfection.

I’m looking for people who might want to start a band. If you're interested in making music together online — even if you're far away — feel free to hit me up.

It really doesn’t matter whether you’re highly skilled or not. What matters more to me is creativity and passion. But it would be nice to meet someone who’s good at organizing projects or helping develop ideas further, since I tend to create lots of songs but struggle to fully flesh them out.

Some of my influences are: Pixies, The Pastels, Pavement, Joy Division, Beat Happening.

I'm a vocalist/synthist (I also program drum machines) from New Jersey and have too much time, so why not form a band? I'm thinking a sort of a harsh electronic/grunge fusion in my head as of now, but we can figure that out. Soy el guitarrista, productor de esta banda, dispongo de varias canciones demo y 1 ya lanzada. Por eso mi intención es buscar gente dispuesta a grabar, y en un buen futuro tocar en público junto a otras bandas.

Necesitaría Bajista y Batería mas que nada. Actualmente dichos instrumentos los manejo virtualmente para la producción.

I need some help, please? Can't remember the band name, of course. 😅 its classic rock era. 60's to 80's, I believe. I wanna say the band is along the lines of Rainnow or Deep Purple, but I can't figure it out. The album cover is like a knight or just his armor or helmet on the ground by a tree. Hi guys, I’m 22 f from LA and looking to start a band or find people to jam with!! (Looking for others around my age, maybe 18-25ish? And while I do need more girlfriends If ur a cool dude with no weird intentions then you pass)
BUT I don’t know where to start at all and don’t know professionally how this goes, but I’m lookin for others who are in the same boat of like just trying/ improvising by simply making friends to jam with. we all start somewhere ig. I play guitar as an amateur and would love to find others who want to learn/improve their instrument to motivate each other and be able to practice together!! While it’s severely early to find a sound, just to put it out there for some sort of glimpse of direction I’m really into - linkin park, ptv, freshwater, evanescence paramore, arctic monkeys, deftones, loathe, wisp, super heaven, chevelle, slipknot etc etc. but open to a lot of genres btw but naturally I lean toward metal/nu metal, alt, rock, punk, shoegaze grunge etc. even pop (dm me and I’ll give u my Spotify :3)

Side note: my Only issue is I live in an apt so my place might not be ideal, but honestly just making friends in music is enough of a start for me, pls hmu !!

I've been a musician for around 15 years now, I write all my own music, and have recently stepped back from working in a music group to focusing on my own personal tracks.

I'm looking to compensate a fellow composer for their time in assisting me to give my current project some more identity. I would like to show you some of my current ideas and bounce ideas back and forth in order to strengthen the foundations for my in-the-works EP.

The EP, working title "Let There Be Night", focuses on themes of (leaving) religion, existential crisis', grief and psychosis. It's inspired by Bowie's earlier works, along with thematics similar to Senses Fail, ditching the concept record approach for something much more raw, direct and honest.

If you can't relate to the themes at all, there's probably not a whole lot of common ground for us to work off, but if you consider yourself an emotional person that looks for meaning in suffering I would wager that it can't hurt to shoot me a message.

I'm based in Adelaide, SA. However, I expect this session to be online, perhaps over a Discord call.

Please feel free to reach out and show me any of your music that you've created, along with anything about yourself that you'd like to share. As a ballpark figure, I'm looking at spending about $100USD on the session but this is negotiable.

Hello! Basically title, my group consists of a four piece (vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and bass) but we are looking for a drummer for our emo project (flaco the owl) :)

We have about 2 originals and plan to work up to gigging/open mics. We meet at smash studios in midtown manhattan!

This is a bit of a long shot, but I just wanted to play this song on the bass with a band. I'm mostly a drummer but have been learning to play the bass and was practicing it a few months ago.

This is nothing super serious, the idea was to just book 1 or 2 hours at a studio like Lynx, split the cost of the room, and rehearse the song. Just for fun. If we do book the studio for 2 hours we can choose maybe 1-2 additional songs to rehearse.

This is a very casual thing, you don't need to be a professional. I myself play for fun. Just be able to play/song the song roughly at the same tempo as the studio version, hit most notes, etc.
