[GUIDE] How to use Direct Download Links on Fitgirl
I am making this guide because my comment where i said i MIGHT make a guide on this got like 100 upvotes.
So, here is how to use DDL on Fitigrl
1. Getting JDownloader 2
First of all, you should download an app called JDownloader 2. It is an app you can use to download files in bulk, and it works the best out of all the ones i used. There are alternative apps you can use such as silverspoon, but i will not cover that here because that would require making ANOTHER guide.
Go on this website, or if you dont trust the link im providing you can go on fmhy and get jdownloader here. Choose your operating system and download the installer (in my case, its windows)
I will not be covering how to use the installer here, because i think you can do it if you are tech literate enough. if not, you can just press next a few times.
You might want to disable auto-pasting links in your linkgrabber. it annoyed me quite a bit first time i used jdownloader.
2. Using JDownloader 2
This is the part where you actually download the game installer from fitgirl. Go on fitgirl and look for a game you want to download. For this guide, i will be using Slime Rancher 2.
Now, if you immediately try to use any of these hosters, 99% of the time, they will fail in some way. Maybe you are blocked by cloudflare, maybe the download speeds are slow, maybe the captcha doesnt work, etc. THIS is why we use a tool called FitGirl Link Extractor, which gives us links that do not have these problems and lets us just download the damn game already. You can find it on FMHY or you can just use this link.
Get the Fitgirl URL for your game, and paste it into the website, then extract links.
After you have the extracted links, you might want to look through them and disable optional content you might not want, such as language packs or optional soundtrack. ALWAYS keep the part files (files that have "part" and then a number after that at the end).
After you have deselected anything you might not want, copy all the links using the button on the top.
Now, go to JDownloader and go to the Linkgrabber tab.
Press the button "Add New Links" at the bottom of your JDownloader.
A new tab should open, that should look something like this.
All the gibberish on the top is actually our links! You can scroll to the left to see the fuckingfast domain.
Just a little bit below the textbox where you have your links, you have to select your download destination. Make sure you have enough free space on your drive for the game, the repack downloader*2, and atleast 10 gigs for windows.
After you have confirmed you are downloading to the right destination, you can press Continue on the bottom.
You might see this popup. If you do, press Yes.
Your JDownloader should look something like this now. The game repack, and a file called fg-selective-XXXXXX or fg-optional-XXXXX, or something like that.
If all links are available and online, press Start all Downloads in the right down corner.
You should be moved to the Downloads tab, with the download starting. Now, you should wait untill it finishes. It might take longer or faster depending on the game's size.
After it is done, JDownloader will start extracting all the archives. You will see if it has finished in the Downloads tab. After it has finished, you can open the repack folder, transfer the fg-optional file if it is not in the same directory as the installer, and then run the .bat file to check if all the .bin files have downloaded properly. if they did, you can remove all the .rar files and run the installer.
Congratulations! You have downloaded a repack using DDL. You can do this, or just use torrent.

On Fitgirls site, which magnets are safer? Rutor or 1337? I've some say that 1337 isn't the safest site (not fitgirls uploads but the site itself)

Need to download games with Torrent
as in canada we are not allowed to use torrent legally so i one any idea how we can download games without it.
i know there are options to download in parts but that too lengthy and time consuming.
please suggest me anything else as previously used telegram to download repacks easily but i don't know what happened to those channels now.
