High fibre foods and their fibre content

Most people focus on protein, but fibre is probably one of the most ignored parts of Indian diets right now. A lot of packaged foods are high calorie but very low in fibre, which is probably one reason people feel hungry again so quickly.

What do you usually eat for fibre?

Compared curapod vs my physio visits for about 3 months

With physio - Physio visits: 3x per month at ₹800 per session = ₹2,400/month - Pain medication (ibuprofen + muscle relaxants): ~₹400/month - Occasional pain relief sprays/patches: ~₹300/month - Monthly total: ~₹3,100
I’d been doing this for almost a year. That’s roughly ₹37,000 over 12 months. And the pain was managed, not resolved.

With this device (around ₹8K one-time) - Physio reduced to 1x per month for check-ins: ₹800/month - Medication dropped significantly: ~₹200/month - Sprays/patches: nearly eliminated - Monthly total: ~₹1000
Month 1 cost including device: ~₹9,300 (higher). Month 2 onward: significant savings. By 3rd month the device had effectively paid for itself.

I want to be clear, the physio still added value, especially for the exercises and posture work. But for daily pain management between sessions, this device took that role effectively.

I have moderate chronic lower back pain, not something surgical. But for people in that middle zone, not severe enough for major intervention, the value just make sense but again it's totally your call.

Did your cardio?

Hi fam, I don't know, cardio memes are funny but it's time we give cardio the importance it deserves.

My favorite muscle to train is chest but my body's favorite muscle is the heart. It's time we train it.

Take care fam!

Best place to buy good quality chicken?

I’ve been going to the gym for around 2 weeks now and want to properly fix my protein intake.

I recently got an air fryer, so now I’m planning to add chicken regularly to my diet. Just wanted to know where you guys usually buy your chicken from — online or offline?

And if online, which apps/services do you recommend?

You lot have to try UL or Full Body. High frequency training has done wonders for me.

Lifting numbers have gone up quite easily for me these past few months.

What would be an ideal platform to represent Fittest of India?

When I say the phrase 'Fittest of India', It just not include everyday athletes chasing PR on strava and posting it on the Instagram or people competing for Instagramable moments (I am not criticizing it, don't get me wrong) but everyone who contributes to the ecosystem.

75 % of total fund goes to a single game - cricket; and if you look at the amount of players competiting for single spot of even a net bowler is insane. It's almost equal to candidates showing up for sub inspector SSC exam and I am not even talking about other sports right now.

This unorganised behaviour of sports and wellness industry spares no other option for athletes but to drop the sport. My question is how can we create more platforms and systems that helps these athletes to stick to what they like and still can be financial independent?

trying to create something in this space, would love to hear it from the community.

Diet + Supplement stack at 18 ( RAY PEAT INFLUENCED)

Currently im in my first year of college and have already noticed a lot of fat gain. I am finally taking action on these and trying to implement the principles of Ray Peat . I was fat all my life with gyno and will try to loose weight once and for all.

I started at 86.4 kilos and my stomach always had issues from excessive gas and burping but i took time out of my life to research for my own good.

FOR CONTEXT ( I AM 181CM AND 83KGS AND GO THE GYM 6X A WEEK)

  • 1.5L dairy with 1L being normal and 500ml being fermented. ( 17 Days in and no issues)
  • 5-6 cage free eggs a day.
  • I try to include lots of saturated fats( coconut oil butter ghee) and avoid PUFAs
  • Lots of sugar from OJ, mandarins, honey , mangoes etc.. and get 1 carrot a day
  • rice from mess and add coconut oil to it
  • 200g Paneer a day.
  • i plan on eating mutton liver 2x a month but hate the taste so its a maybe for now
  • I drink Coffee around 200mg caffiene a day.
  • Protein — 135g
  • Carbs — 223g These were my macros for Yesterday
  • Fat — 110g I dont count calories usually but its around 2.2-2.5k
  • Saturated Fat — 95g
  • PUFA — 3g

Now for Supplements im taking

  • Chelated Zinc 30mg
  • Vitamin E 400IU
  • Magnesium Glycinate 200mg
  • Copper 2 mg
  • Planning on taking d3+k2 in a week or 2

Ive never felt better and have actually lost 2 kgs on this diet
People need to stop demonizing sugars and should FIRST START BY EXPERIMENTING. it is easier to talk then actually do it. If you have any suggestions please do tell them.
