Don’t be fooled. MB is mixing Yeast Protein in their products.

After my last post, I decided to go back to ordering either Fuel One of MB.

Both Fuel One Whey Iso-Max and MuscleBlaze Biozyme Whey PR list Yeast Protein (extracted from Saccharomyces cerevisiae) as the second ingredient, right after whey. On the MB Biozyme tub, it’s actually sold under a “Protein Blend (80.8%)” label that includes both.

None of this shows up on the front of the pack. Both products are marketed and priced purely as “Whey Protein” / “Whey Isolate” / “Whey PR”, no mention of a blend, no “whey + yeast protein” claim anywhere visible unless you flip the tub and read the ingredients + amino acid panel in fine print.

To be clear on what this isn’t: it’s not illegal. FSSAI requires ingredients listed by descending weight on pack, and they’ve done that - yeast protein is disclosed, just not prominently.

The issue is the gap between what’s marketed (100% whey) and what’s actually in the tub (a whey + yeast protein blend). If you’re paying for whey, you’d probably want to know a chunk of your protein blend is coming from a cheaper source - the info exists, it’s just buried where almost no regular buyer will read.

I think this information should be displayed upfront transparently.

Whey gave me terrible acne — what protein should I switch to?

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to start going to the gym again and I’m confused about which protein powder to use.

The last time I was working out, I was taking Avvatar whey protein 1 scoop daily. After some time, I developed terrible pimples all over my face. I stopped taking whey, and my acne gradually cleared up. I also stopped going to the gym after that.
Now I want to start training again, but I’m honestly scared of repeating the same thing.
I’m strictly vegetarian and I depend quite a lot on protein powder to meet my daily protein intake. So I’m considering:

Pea protein
Soy protein
Pea + rice blend
Other plant/vegan protein

Or should I try whey isolate despite my previous experience?

I’m also looking at reasonably priced options available in India, so I’d really appreciate recommendations that give good protein per rupee rather than just expensive premium brands.

Has anyone here had acne from whey and successfully switched to a plant protein without getting breakouts? If so, which protein/brand did you switch to, and how was the taste, digestion and muscle recovery?
Also, if you’ve tried both pea and soy, which one would you recommend for someone who is acne-prone?
I know everyone reacts differently, but I’d really appreciate real experiences before I spend money on another tub.

I contacted customer care service and they told me to connect on WhatsApp. I contacted them and the person said that this code is not visible to him. What to do now .

Is Vitamin D clogging your arteries? Let's find out.

I often see people asking whether they should take vitamin D3 alone or combine it with Vitamin K2. A lot of pseudo fitness-fluencers are sharing their coupon code for buying k2 supplements.

But the real question is, DO YOU NEED THEM?

After going through this post, you won't need another validation from anyone.

Tukaram Mundhe, a blessing to us Indians!

Hi fam!

Expecting the bare minimum, which is hygiene at restaurants we eat at, has become too much to ask for.

Mr.Tukaram Mundhe has been making that change and truly adding a ton of value and confidence to us fellow Indians!

As a responsible citizen, whenever we see something shady, it could be a dark store, It could be a street side vendor or a five-star restaurant. It's our duty to bring this to the notice of FSSAI.

Here I have linked ways we could reach out to FSSAI. Let's do our part!

Need a Suggestion

In past few weeks I have made these changes to my lifestyle-

  1. Avoiding consumables with added sugar
  2. Pumpkin seeds and Sunflower seeds intake
  3. 2 Litre of water daily
  4. Adding curd once in any meal (I used to have curd earlier as well)
  5. Walking daily for around 30-40 mins

I am facing sudden issues with my digestion, I am not feeling any stomach ache but regular constipation is my biggest worry now.

Can anyone suggest what am I doing wrong?

Edit 1.0 - Thanks to the guidance provided, intake of more water did the job.

Insecurity is like bells curve , am at the latter end of it .

Basically, I began lifting because I was a bit skinny during my teens and finally took the plunge after turning 18. And God, it made me feel so good about myself. It made my insecurities disappear.

But, as they say…..my legs were my biggest insecurity, so I worked on them and made them good.

But now, the insecurity has started creeping back in again. It’s indeed a bell curve.

Been lifting for around 4 Years now

Workout : I workout 4 times a week with a PLPL split and do some running session once a week

Prediabetic and trying to fix my diet, what else should I do?

I’m prediabetic and my doctor advised me to avoid sweets and desserts, so I’ve been trying to clean up my diet.

Breakfast: oats

Lunch: homemade sabzi and 3 rotis

Dinner: same as lunch

(Junk only on occasions or outings with friends )

Started using oziva acv for craving control and also bought these shots to control my blood sugar levels as well ….

What are some things I can add in my routine to help manage my blood sugar levels ?

Sleep Cycle is F*cked

I am 19, My sleep cycle has been devastatingly f*cked from the past 3-4 years and even if it started as an escapism for bad mental health , Maybe there is something more underneath.

Perhaps neurodivergence, Perhaps something else but I do get a good sleep whenever I go to sleep.

If I sleep at 4-5 AM , I would wake up completely rested automatically within 8 hours.

But I cannot seem to sleep on the right time and my circadian rhytm is off.

Please help with anything that's a little personal or beyond just melatonin gummies
