My store has a group chat which is mainly used for sending pictures of what was messed up when my SM comes in to open, she sends a bunch of pictures and basically scolds the closers. Is this something that's allowed?

As the title says, im in management at my local FiveBelow. I dont expect this to get to much traction but i thought it would be fun. I see a lot of missinfo on tiktok which inspired me to do this.

Just did my second day of training after being hired on as an MM. It’s basically just waking up, going to work, working and stressing all day, coming home, eating and then going to bed. Not even including “clopens” where I’ll have to close at 10:30pm and then open at 5am. I’ve worked many management positions but what the fuck even is this? It seems like MM is just “Store Slave”. Not sure how long I can handle this tbh, I thought your guys comments were all overreacting. Don’t do it, I’m desperate for money and am still debating leaving.

With the emails only getting worse, being at 50% now, if you shop here don’t even put your email In if you don’t want, make one up, “abc123@gmail.com” that’s an email that works, because workers like myself get in trouble when we don’t meet that goal, my manager just told me from now on anything under 50 is a red in our observations which if we get so many in a row we will get written up, so please fake emails so we don’t get yelled at and have to fight the write ups if it gets to that point,

all of my managers continue to tell me along with other sales associates at my location that if we don’t “meet goal” with emails (my location has a goal of 50% 🫩😒🙄) that we can face write ups or even termination. is this legal? if it is, HOW?! WE CANT CONTROL THE CUSTOMERS GIVING US THEIR PERSONAL INFO!!! i can’t force a customer to spit their email out to me to get my % up, why am i being reprimanded and THREATENED for not harassing customers????? can someone weigh in on this? i’m so fucking exhausted.

Hey, i have my first day tomorrow at Five Below, and I was wondering how the work environment is. Also, I think my location has around 30 employees, including managers, so I also wanted to know how many hours you guys think I'll be working. I wanna work as much as possible because I'm a broke high schooler who needs money before the school year starts back up. Please LMK!!!

I just got hired at five below and this would be my first real job. I still have to do those tasks to complete on workday before I can actually start working but my workday has been malfunctioning. All day I’ve been trying to log on and it just says unable to process request 🤔. I tried changing my password but that didn’t help. I called my store and they said I have to call back later when the store managers in because they couldn’t access my account, but that may be because I changed my password. I’m a little concerned because it took me a good while to find a job. Has this happened to anyone else? Should this be chill? Opinions needed

I'm a CEM at a new location (opened up on the 3rd) and the TShirt wall is almost always a hot mess. I spend about 2-3 hours recovering it by myself. Some days I'll load up a cart and give it to my closing cashier to fold and then I'll go grab it to fill the wall but the next day, it looks exactly the same as before 😭 I've asked for advice from my DM but he basically deflected and said it can't look like that and we have to stay on top of it. It's honestly the bane of my existence right now so I'd really appreciate some advice on how to keep up with it

Any advice yoy guys have because ill ask but the costumers say no all the time. I need advice quickly.😭😭. Manager gave us a warning.

Just became a PTSL, anything I should know?! It seems pretty straightforward. Support the SM, MM, & CEM. Im excited! I was hired for truck mainly, so Ive never done anything really up front and quickly (less then 2 months) was offered the position! I downloaded Zipline so I can stay on top of things and my SM knows my strengths are in trucks, breaking down pallets, doing new sets! I am terrible at customer service tho!

But any advice will help!!

My managers are really pushing and looking for us to be selling these tote bags and although i’m not too worried about it, i just got hired and i really want to make a good impression!

The problem is that literally nobody wants to buy one. i’ve sold zero. I live in an area where we also have the plastic bags, so i’ve tried “would you like a reusable tote for 35¢?”, “would you like a reusable tote bag, it’s 4 for $1?” and “would you like a reusable tote for $1?”(so i automatically sell 4) but literally every variation i try, nobody wants it???? 😭

Is this a requirement? Let’s say I work at a five below that’s 20/30 minute drive from the next one or maybe my store is short staffed. Or I just simply don’t have anyone to send over because it will put us out. Is it true what my district manager says that it’s not optional? That I work for five below and not my specific store? I have to FORCE my employees to go to other stores? He says this is in our work contract????????

i bought a carrot fishing rod toy for my cat and played with him with it this morning. needless to say it's a piece of shit toy. the toy part broke off immediately, and then my cat EASILY chewed part of the string off and SWALLOWED IT before i had a chance to stop him! WHY TF are they selling a toy that breaks off that easily and can be swallowed?! i'm talking he just bit it and it broke right off. thank god i was able to throw the rest of it away and didn't just leave it on the floor for him to eat. i'm genuinely so pissed and now i have to monitor him to make sure he passes this string piece and doesn't get an obstruction. 😡 if anything happens im suing 5 below for real

i got these headphones just yesterday and they worked pretty fine with basically no issue until i noticed today my right one isnt making sound at all. it can mess with the amc and transparency and play and pause but thats it i just cant hear anything from it

i got an email about a five below hiring event happening tomorrow and i’ve applied to other five belows in my area with no response. i just need a job for the summer (yes i know it’s late 😭) but a lot of my applications haven’t gone anywhere…

has anyone gone to one of their hiring events / on the spot interviews and was it easy
