Can someone help me identify what type of rasgueo this is? I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me what it's called so I can look up a tutorial on YouTube showing how to play it. Thanks!
FYI, the song is a rumba catalana, a style of music related to flamenco rumba that originated in the gypsy communities of Barcelona, Spain.
Has anyone else experienced pain in their index finger from the flamenco A chord? I think I could be collapsing my index finger too much but I’m not sure.
Hey! On the video, you can see me messing around the G major scale, trying out picado. I’m having a hard time getting my wrist to a position where it isn’t flexing, I. The video you can see me fumble about with my position but I still can’t find it. I notice most of the players I like have their bicep sort of rested on the guitar, I can’t do that and still have my fingers close to the strings to pluck. Is my guitar too small maybe? If you guys were kind enough to offer some advice, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks
