Tab preview pop-ups have transparent panels

After an update last week, I noticed that the tab previews have transparent panels. I hope this is a bug, because it can make the text illegible when there are other items visible behind the pop-up panel.

I found that it happens with Lepton, Photon and Firefox UI Fix interface themes. Proton and Fluerial don't have this, but I don't want to use them.

Also, I don't like that the settings icon turns black when hovered, making it hardly visible in the dark background, regardless of interface theme.

Since last update this happens using lepton theme, and it's utterly annoying. Any way to fix it?

Floorp or FireDragon?

I saw Linux Mint's Software Manager shows both. I'm curious about the latter... Does anyone have any familiarity with it?

Having an issue with the newest update where the search engine selector for the adress bar is up here when I open a new tab/refresh.

If I click on it then then it moves back to the adress bar and opens the popup menu. However, as soon as I switch page, open a new tab or simply refresh the current page it goes back up there and I have to click it again. Is anyone else having this issue?

vs.12.14.1 ?

Is this version supposed to be available to update to? It's newer than the latest relase stated on Github. It's rather broken, and I'm not enjoying it.
