Pic for visibility. I'm looking at getting some new waders. I definitely won't be buying some $600 simms or Patagonia waders but I might get the orvis Clearwater. My question is are the frog tog waders decent. It's tempting to pull the trigger since they're $150 but I also dont want to invest in pure garbage. How are the orvis Clearwater waders?
Just set this fly rod carrier up. I refuse to spend 900 bucks on a carrier. Anyway it’s set up pretty good. It’s super bouncy, any DIYers have a solution to prevent the bounce?
I moved it back so I can’t open my trunk all the way, but it bounces less. I was also considering cutting it in half so instead of 10’ it’s 5’.

Looking to get a new car and I want to get the most functional vehicle for fishing and everyday use. As much as I would like to get a Frontier, can’t really justify a truck other than for fishing. I’m actually considering a minivan. As nice as four wheel drive would be when I need it once or twice a year, fwd is sufficient. I’ve had a minivan before, when the kids were younger. Not fun to drive but comfortable, will tow my 16’ boat, carries everything and everything stays dry and warm, and I can even sleep in it. Talk me out of it
