Great rod. I’ve had the rod for years, I’m the original owner. Time to move it along I’ve got too many rods around. Outstanding dry fly rod. Great condition.

Tools for more easily threading leaders into small flies

I have a small tremor in my hands (benign essential tremor) and I am having a harder time rigging flies now in my 60's. I am seeing ads for small devices (e.g. Fly Roost 2.0) to aid in threading the leader into small hooks. They look great to me but I'd like to hear what works for you before buying anything.

Imperfection in new fly line

I just bought a new setup, along with an SA Amplitude MPX line. I haven’t even casted it, but upon an initial inspection I noticed a small imperfection. It’s about 6” from the welded loop. Just wondering if this is worth taking back to the shop and getting a new one or not. Thanks.

Vintage fly reel identification

Anyone have any idea what reel this is or at least the manufacturer? Thank you in advance. I don’t have any other photos.

Older Sage Rod and Ross Reel

A coworker of mine lent me this rig for a trip I took recently it's a Sage Flight 5 weight and an older Ross Reel. It was his beater rig and he just wanted to see it enjoyed. The line was junk so I replaced the backing and the line. I saw him at work and I went to return it to him and he told me to hold onto it and do some more fishing. I went to return it a second time and he told me just to use it since it doesn't get much use.

He's leaving my job and I went to return it and he asked if I'd like to buy it. Didn't give me any number just told me to give him a number. I liked the rod and reel and it's way nicer than my kit setup I have already, but I just have no idea what to offer him for it.

Any ideas on a realistic offer for something like this?

G.Loomis NRX+ LP // Hardy Bouglé Mk VII

Another breathtakingly beautiful rod/reel combination. Decided specifically to go with the MkVII as the bright finish and cream colored handle compliments the bright metal of the reel seat just so sublimely.

Wader recommendations

Hey, I’m a 15 year old hardcore fisherman who goes out a lot (basically when I can) to fish for trout. I was wondering about some decent, but not too expensive options (something pretty tough). I owned the Frogg Togg Canyon ll’s but they have a heck ton of holes in them, and in areas that don’t even make sense to me honestly.

I heard Paramount Outdoors might be good? I own their boots and they are super nice for the price.

Also just wondeirng anyone who might have had similar experience with those Frogg Togg Canyon ll’s because they currently have a trillion leaks in them for me lol.
