How Can I make It Harder?

Nope, I'm not having issues down there! Having gotten my head around how to trade players away for draft capital before they leave as free agents or get a second contract, I'm now finding the game too easy, even on insane level.

I'm just wondering if any of you have come up with self imposed limitations in order to keep the game challenging. Obviously I could just not use the 'trade everyone for draft picks before their contract runs out' hack, but once you have it down, it's kind of hard not to do it.

So, any suggestions?

I’m curious, if there is plans to bring a “coaching” regime to the game?

Honestly love this game to death, but it always feels like it’s missing something with the coaching ; I’ve done a 1000 year sim a few times & noticed things like RB never getting above 2K yards (I had 1 I think in 1K year, while in real life, we’ve had like 5 or 6 I think over 100 years or so)

Additionally I think having a unique coach system in this game would provide so much value to it, not sure the plan with implementing it or if it’s even an idea.

I really find the idea of a coach with different theories & styles to be entertaining (maybe OC & DC too) I mean like are they more of a RB Workhorse style while believing short passes matter most, or a Light RB cycle with harsh running to the outsides, or even a mix of things like believes in strong WRs with good hands while keeping an okay QB & power back, could create some interesting directives for “GMs” to have 3-5 goal sets (1 Long Term (Multi-year), 3 Medium term (seasonal) & 2 Short Term (2-3 weeks)) to keep the coach happier and not want to leave. . .

Being on that point, would love to see “goals” set by Owners, maybe when they are first hiring you “aiming for a Run Heavy” or “Wanting a Top 16 Dline” goals would be cool. . .

I dunno these are just some suggestions that I personally find really pull me into football games ; I got no idea the work on coding these in or difficulty
I am in love with this game. A+ Job to the Devs (or Dev) who created this beautiful game)
