BS4 or BS6 Ecosport

Planning to buy a used Ford EcoSport diesel and need some opinions from owners.

We live in the high-range hilly areas of Kerala with lots of ghat roads, climbs and curves — not much flat highway driving daily.

Daily usage includes morning/evening town runs and occasional hill trips. Long highway trips happen once every few months.

Currently confused between BS4 and BS6 diesel EcoSport.

For this kind of terrain and usage:

- Is BS4 really better than BS6?

- Any DPF issues in BS6 for this usage?

Would love opinions from long-term EcoSport owners.

hello. I may used wrong transmission fluid for my 6 speed ecosport 2021. i am worried as i know those engines and transmissions in 2.0 ecosport are pretty durable. so i do not want to damage it.

what would happen if i used ULV instead of LV fluid in my transmission. i already did 12k miles with it and did not notice anything. just slight kick in second and third gear. it is 6 speed transmission.

What is this part that is circled? Underneath that is a part stamped “Bosch” and it is ticking. Confirmed with stethoscope.
