Ba falcon n/a tuning

Hey all. I’ve recently bought pcm tec enthusiast edition as I’ve always wanted to learn how to tune and barras are cheap and plentiful so it didn’t matter if I blew one up. I’ve fiddled around with a couple things just seeing what works better. All road tuning without a wide band so it’s proper shade tree stuff. Any chance someone here knows what they’re doing with barras and would be able to have a look at my file to see if I’ve missed anything for some extra gains? I got 156kw to the wheels so I’m fairly certain there’s more to gain. Thanks in advance

Exhaust help

I have a 2009 fg xr6 sadly na that has just hit 200,000kms and I’ve just had a new exhaust put on.

When I bought this car the guy before had already put some cheap exhaust on the car and to be honest it was decently loud and I enjoyed the sound but I was always planning on getting a new one just because of how sceptical I was with the quality of it. Sure enough about two months ago the exhaust started making this horrible rattling noise and I kept putting it off getting looked at until last week I took it to a muffler shop my mechanic recommended and they told me I had an exhaust leak plus some other things that were just overall not worth the money to fix and so I’d already done some research a little while ago about some exhausts I’d be interested in and I was set on the x force 2.5 inch catback and so I booked the car in that same day for the next day to get it installed. From the first startup I could already tell the exhaust wasn’t as loud as the old one and yes I understand the old one was very cheap and there’s a reason it was louder but I loved the look of the x force and of course the reviews were mixed but that’s how it is with most of them. The only decent sound I get from the x force is when I step on it quite hard from takeoff and I like the sound of it don’t get me wrong but I miss being able to hear the exhaust from just accelerating while already moving and I love driving the car in the gears and hearing nothing when changing gears is quite sad, going uphill used to sound real nice and loud too but now it’s quiet and I can’t lie I miss it so much 😭.
I’ve been looking at possibly swapping the centre muffler for a hot dog resonator especially a 12” just purely because I am on my p2s and will be for another year and I don’t wanna do any modifications that’ll get me really noticed but I also want the car decently loud. I am aware that changing the muffler is like against the p plater laws or something like that (I don’t even know if that’s right) but there are so many straight piped and just 10x louder cars out there that I’ve seen around for ages so yeah I’m just looking for something I can do that will be in the legal ish range and not too attention grabbing where it grabs the wrong attention and I just overall love having a loud car and this x force being this quiet is killing me but I’d also wanna keep the x force like I don’t wanna take off what I just put on you know
Any tips you guys can give me will be much appreciated!!

A friend is selling his G6E with a busted auto gearbox for $500.... worth it?

Let me start by saying I'm not knowledgeable about Falcons, or cars in general, so apologies if this is a dud question.

He has a G6E that is, as far as I am aware, very well looked after. Full service history, clean and tidy, etc. He spent a lot of time & money addressing the rear... something... that notoriously goes wrong on Falcons. Something to do with the axle or suspension?

Then the auto gearbox sh*t itself and will only select 1 & 4, if I recall.

For $500 is it worth buying an otherwise clean G6E? Is it likely I will have to get the gearbox fully overhauled, or simply buy a new one?

Is converting it to manual an option, would this be any cheaper or easier than a replacement auto box?

Yes, I know my questions are probably pointless. But I've always wanted a Falcon and here is one a trustqorthy friend is selling.

Cheers.

Removing Crank Pulley

What sort of pullers/tools everyone used to remove the crankshaft pulley on an AU 5.0?

Snapped a water pump bolt while replacing the pump and now need to remove the timing case to extract it, wanting to remove the crank pulley avoiding damage but she is stuck pretty good

Cheers.
