I know the game didn't review very well and is still sitting at mixed for both all-time and recent user reviews on Steam. However, I've always been interested in it. So would you say it's worth it now at it's cunnent price (£19.49 or £22.42 with the "In Tanta We Trust" expansion), or is it just not worth it at all?

And before anyone says it, that accessibility option is turned off. It has been the entire game, but it keeps doing it anyway. I keep trying to use the "tendril" attack, but end up growing that stupid and utterly useless plant instead. Even though I know for a fact, and I mean for a FUCKING fact, that I selected the tendril attack. It is driving me bug-shagging mad!
I'm playing on PC through Steam using a controller. Is there some sort of control option or setting that I don't know about that could be causing this?
