hey everyone! idk if anyone else in the community has done this so i apologize if i just repeated what someone else has already done but i thought it would be interesting to extract all the instrumentals and vocals from every ftp song and in the end, decided to put them in a google drive folder as well as upload them onto youtube for anyone else in the community who was interested on hearing some of the songs without vocals, or vice versa.

the program i use has a very good stem splitter function, which allows me to extract the different properties of a song (vocals, bass, drum, guitar, etc.) and it sounds very well done to the point where it sounds like a near complete official instrumental recording. the vocals are also up there in the alley buy not as refined as the instrumentals sound.
im giving this to people if anyone is interested in listening to the vocals or instrumentals of any ftp song, or even interested in making their own ftp audio project.

all the youtube video visuals/thumbnails were done by me with the intent on making them somewhat relating to their respective eras. if youre going through the channel, i would suggest going through the playlists tab for any specific ftp song youre looking for instead of endlessly scrolling til you find it.

i plan on doing this same thing with other artists/bands that i am a fan of and uploading them onto the channel. i've done bands like fall out boy and lord huron right now, for any fans of those two out there.

if anyone is interested, i could make a separate version of a song with the desired stems they want (like having only drums and bass for houdini), just dm me or leave a comment if interested! however, i should note that i CANNOT individually extract, say the rhythm and lead guitars for a song, all the guitars would be grouped together within a stem, same with drums and any type of percussion, or synth sounds along with strings and other ambient sounds.

Has anyone seen anything about them doing DJ sets this tour? I know last tour they did one in about every state they stopped at and was hoping it would be the same for this tour. At the same time, I totally understand them not doing it. I’m sure it’s exhausting doing 2 shows in 1 day, day after day.

Just got tickets for the LA show and I want to take my gf but she only knows pumped up kicks. She’s a fan of bands like Cage the Elephant, Peach Pit & Tame Impala to name a few. What songs should I have her listen to get her on board?

That would be insane but like they only tour when they release something I feel like.

So I purchased tickets for my husband and I for the Greek Theatre show on October 23rd and I just realized I purchased seats 121 and 123!!! Not even seats together, what do you think I can do? I checked online again and there’s no more seats in that section but seats in another section (terrace section), should I sell my tickets and purchase the ones that are available together or hope that the person in between us will let us sit together 😭..
I fucked up!

I saw FTP last year in San Fran and we got mixed up with the BART system and got to the concert pretty much before the doors opened. It was completely packed and we watched the whole concert basically from the bar.

Well we just got tickets for UC Berkeley in September where the whole concert is General Admission. Starts at 8pm.

How early should I arrive if I want to get as close to the stage as possible? I'm willing to wait as long as it takes so I wanted to plan accordingly.
