This was my first time seeing Four Tet and what a set that was, so much so I ddnt pick up my phone and record anything. Was anyone there who got any good clips!! Please share, thanks.
During one of my lives streams I played the set list from Opem to Close at the Kia Forum, here are a couple transitions I thought were pretty smooth. Enjoy! Link Below to full audio from stream, please excuse microphone chat as I was talking to the live chat!

Does anyone know where I can actually watch the Four Tet Essential Mix from Boomtown?
BBC Radio 1 Dance announced that the Essential Mix would make its Boomtown debut with a visualised set from Four Tet, and the post says:
“Listen on @bbcsounds | Watch on YouTube & @bbciplayer”
But I genuinely cannot find the video anywhere, nothing obvious on YouTube or iPlayer, and searching for it just brings up the old Four Tet sets.
Maybe I need to wait till 22:35 when he starts idk…
Anyone know why Kieran switches between the PlayDifferently Model 1 and Pioneer V10 mixer when playing DJ sets?
He remains as one of the very few DJs that use Model 1 mixer nowadays, so I kind of wondered if that was his preferred first choice mixer, and whether using a V10 is when the festival / organiser cannot source a Model 1 and is more of a backup / second choice mixer.
If Model 1 is his preferred - I don’t understand why he wouldn’t just travel with one in a Peli case to each show like Richie Hawtin for instance..
They are quite boutique / niche and it’s really cool to see Kieran still supporting this fully analogue DJ mixer!
Or a combination of both? Would love to hear him do some modular stuff live
Did anyone get any videos of when he played pick up the pace (isoxo & dryden)? And ideally the drop. Would have been around 20.14-20.15hrs. I would be eternally grateful for them.
Hi all - I've started a collaborative playlist for the IDs for the day - feel free to add
{SOLVED! Cheers oneofthetallguys}
FT played a song tonight which I'd really like to find - it was a UKG style song where there was a guy with a London accent explaining how to put a beat together. It went something like "once you've got your *kick drum noise* you want to put it in a four-four pattern".
It kind of reminds me of I Don't Have A Drum Machine by Yuksek - not in the way it sounds, but the style of the vocal.
I want to say it was on during the last 90 mins of his evening set.
Thanks if you can help!
Apologies for my loud whooping. But yeah, magic. I hope you all had a wonderful time, I did.
Clashfinder has Kieran playing Boomtown straight after Floating Points… Tasty.
Lot of people (including myself) waiting for this and it seems to be an underwhelming Fred Again release.
