Is this even legal

Is this even legal

The apartment building says they legally have to provide heat until June 1st. I have infants and it got up to 87° in my house, so bad I had to leave. A fan does nothing when it’s that hot. Can I call health department or am I stuck until June 1st?

What happened at Keefe?

I was at Long Field just before the huge storm struck, and I saw that lightning struck Keefe Tech. After a bit, I noticed a large smoke plume rising into the sky and the HEEEEAAAAVY rain put it out a few minutes after. Anyone know what happened?

Looking for an event venue!

Hi all!

Looking for recommendations for a small-ish event space (50 people max) in or around MetroWest/Boston area for an early July gathering.

Hoping to find an indoor/outdoor venue with flexibility for outside catering and ideally BYOB/bringing our own alcohol (though not a total deal breaker if the venue is affordable and has solid food/drink options).

Would love:

•	Afternoon or evening availability

•	Outdoor space preferred

•	DJ/music allowed is a bonus

•	Casual but nice vibe

•	Budget-friendly options

Open to restaurants, private event spaces, farms, breweries, function halls, etc.

Would really appreciate any suggestions or personal experiences! Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Best Brazilian restaurant/cafe near Framingham?

I'll be visiting Framingham this Summer and want to check out the Brazilian fare. What's the #1 Brazilian restaurant or cafe I should stop in at? Thanks!

Does anyone live at Eagle Rock Apartments and want to share their experience?

Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I’s current apartment in Malden just went up in price and I’m interested in Eagle Rock Apartments. Does anyone have any experiences they can share with this place? It says it only has gas included on Apartments.com. Does anyone have any insight to how much the water/sewer bill is a month then?

Anything at all would be incredibly helpful. Thank you!!

Is saxonville beach open for public?

Whenever I am driving by Pond Rd (st?) I see entrance to the Saxonville Beach but it’s always closed. Is it private or closed permanently? Do they open up to the public in Summer?

Framingham Unfiltered used my photo!

I recently posted a photo on Reddit of the #6 license plate that I found in the wild at the Garden in the Woods yesterday in r/LICENSEPLATES and today I was shown by a family member that the same car was posted there. I didn't think much of it until I noticed that the cropping was the same and the same person in orange-ish was in the top right frame. All I have to say is that if you're gonna be bat-crazy and all up in people's business, at least cite your sources for photos.

What does timing belt/water pump replacement go for in the area?

I'm new to the area. I have a Honda Pilot. My normal (out of town) mechanic says that it should be ~1500 for the timing belt, water pump, and spark plug. Just curious what you have seen it cost in the area. Will call a few shops as well shortly.

Mehndi artist around Shrewsbury?

We’re having an interfaith marriage in early August and are looking to hire an artist to come to our home in Worcester to do bridal Mehndi (also known as Henna) on the last Friday in July.

I was looking for recommendations. Perhaps I should call the India Center?

Train to Fenway from Framingham station?

Hi. I am new to the area. I actually live in Ashland, but not too far from Framingham. I pass the Framingham/Worcester line train station all the time on Waverly. I did a quick search and it looks like the train will take me to Lansdowne right near Fenway. I have never taken the train from there before. What is parking like at the train station? It looks like it would be $4 for the evening so long as I am back by midnight? Anything else I need to know? I know that if its an extra inning game, I need to leave early enough to catch the last train at 11:56? Looking at the schedule, it looks like I can either leave the game early at 10:11pm to be in Framingham by 10:50pm or I have to wait until the 11:56pm to be in Framingham by 12:35am. Assuming the game ends around 10-10:30, I guess I am stuck there for 1.5-2hours. Im assuming I would pay $8 for parking if I roll in at 12:35am?

Looking for something to do this Sunday? A group is heading out to Tippling Rock in Sudbury's Nobscot conservation lands on May 3 from 10 AM to 1 PM — just a short drive from Framingham and open to anyone who wants to join. It's about a 4.7-mile loop with around 700 ft of gain, moderate difficulty, and a social pace so the group stays together. The summit rewards you with panoramic views east to the Boston skyline and northwest to Mount Wachusett, plus a scheduled break at the top to take it in.

This is a great opportunity to get outside, meet some new people, and enjoy one of the best local hikes in the area. Whether you're experienced or just getting into hiking, you're welcome to join.
