Video of a power window working on a door without its outer skin on.
It rides perfectly fine
I can't believe so many people were thinking that it would be un rideable. It does perfectly fine for a 50lb cruiser 🤣
Frankenbike enough for the kids?
Welded from different scrap metal and some old broken motocross parts collected from here and there with the cheapest possible mini welding machine.
The extended front fork is big enough for a 29" dirt tire but the rake has a horrible angle for actually riding it properly (at least for a 5yo it seemed quite heavy) so instead, it has the 12" at the moment whichisa bit tolerable. Still needs to be sanded down and cheapo painted.
Thinking about extending the rear fork too just for fun. What do you think, what could make it even better (or worse)?
I ended up putting the battery on the handle bars, it gives me more room than the frame but it’s so ugly, spray paint can fix anything right??
It's 99% done!! Made in 5 evenings, under $200 bucks.
I'm building this EJ Potter inspired bicycle for my YouTube channel. I still need to build a coaster brake mount but otherwise, I believe it's done.
This is an automotive wheel and Tire in the back. Doesn't weigh too much. Feels about like a regular cruiser with about 25 lb strapped to it. Haven't had much of a chance to write it yet, only a few circles in my driveway. But let me know what you guys think of it! The metal flake is insane. The camera doesn't quite pick it up as good as it does in person unfortunately but hey, it's looking good, maybe?!
anybody know how to make this bike go quicker?
Tech had to check wheel spacer fitment, didn't have any 20" wheel boost bikes so what's better than a Yeti ASR?
Holy metal flake batman
Sorry for the dusty hot rod. But here's how I get massive metal flake paint jobs on both cars and bicycles.
The hot rod is home built and started with a fence post. The metal body is hand fabricated by yours truly. Pretty much all the metal came out of a gutter manufacturing businesses dumpster next door to me. It's been reliable for 7 years, 12 lb of boost on a stock ka24 engine. Approximately 250 horsepower and 800 lb with me in it. The hot rod is wicked fast.
Now the bike, you may have seen it on a previous post. It has a car tire in the back now. But here's the red metal flake paint job I'm doing for it. Hope this shows you guys a cool trick to get some massive metal flake..
When the paint is good and dry, it will need to be sanded with 1500 and polished for any little metal flakes that are still poking up. But this paint seems to last without fading. At least it did for my hot rod so far, 7 years of daily usage up until recently.
It's starting to look like a bike again
Hopefully this video does good on my channel. The thing is going to be wicked awesome when done. Hoping to paint it Friday, ride it Saturday
I think y'all may dig this
Today is just day one. The video on my YouTube channel covers just the back wheel in the video, along with the "plans". But I build stuff pretty quick, so stay tuned and see the final product 👍👍

(Not mine) Super tempting but also makes me unbelievably uncomfortable…
The ugly step child of my trike Fleet any ideas?
im not sure what to do with it. I’m way too tall to ride it. can’t find a seat post that will go in it and the clamp was cut off so not like I could tighten the seat post if it fit. The brakes are a work in progress. I wish I could get it so a 6’ person could ride it. I think it’s going to have to remain as yard art and a toy for my nephews to go down my driveway in.
It’s on its third adopted home since some teenager pulled it out of a scrap pile a year ago . Not sure what the original makers vision was. it atleast rolls now and has tires.
This time, I show a riding clip 😂
3.5 evenings of work (15 to 20 ish hours). About 40 bucks. Something fun.
Introducing the "Citi". Version 2.
Keep your hands dirty, build what makes you happy.
If you're interested - builds of a few bicycles from scratch and some restoration work is on my YouTube channel: Rodsoverbricks. Either way, Thanks for watching!
