Microslop Outlook
Fifteen years ago, I got a cheap computer running Windows 8. The hardware wasn't great, so I installed Xubuntu. I mostly used that PC for paying bills and sending personal emails, while I had a Windows 7 PC for work. I never had any problems at home or at the office; everything worked fine.
I've been working at a large company for almost 3 years now. I have a high-end computer, but they force me to use only Microslop products. The performance is terrible and the fan makes a whistling sound. I find a new bug every week; for instance, the program used to freeze whenever I copied characters into an email on Outlook. This makes me doubt the security of their software too. This morning I woke up to reply to an email, and when I click new message, nothing happens. As you can imagine, I'm on Reddit complaining about Microslop. I don't know what's going on at Microslop, but all their products are getting worse, and I mean every single one. From the Windows Server that takes 45 minutes to restart, to SSRS and SSIS doing whatever they want. Meanwhile, I gave my old PC to my brother and, even though the hardware is old and sucks and the keyboard doesn't even work anymore, it runs better than this crap on my desk. I'm not saying everyone has to switch to Linux; I have a Mac myself, but it's time for people to leave Microslop products behind.

Azure Linux has genuinely got to be the worst linux distro ever
This crap is literally made for containers only, has no real drivers, yet was branded general-purpose cloud. I don't know how this crap is supposed to be running ai workloads when its so unreliable it doesnt have real repositories so you cant install drivers easily or anything, for nvidia you have to dig thru their site to get nvidia drivers working. It's very stripped out to the point it's unusable by default even in a server environment. This distro was created almost as if Microsoft wanted to show normies that Linux is just green text on black background. It's literally just fedora but worse, there's no point using it, even for containers there are distros like Alpine or Fedora's container images, so there's no use of this. All while Microsoft famously called Linux a cancer. Yes, if you implement Linux in such a terrible way, it is cancer! They literally confirmed this crap is in testing and not ready for production use. The community is supposed to be doing the free testing for them so that they can make more money from Azure while telling their own contributors to fuck off.

For me, this shit has been appearing since 2025.

No se si vender todo lo que amo para conseguir una pc potente
Pienso ir a intercambiar a una plaza de tecnologia todas las cosas de tecnologia xd que tengo, incluyendo una pc vieja, tres laptops, una placa madre con un intel i5, una wii y varios juegos de play 3, pero sobre todo, mi laptop que actualmente uso (desde la cual escribo esto), es una asus tp301ua, con un intel i3 de 6ta generacion y 8gb de ram, la cual es medio lenta incluso teniendo arch base, pero la amo y no se si valdra la pena darla a cambio de una nueva pc.
Para que entiendan, lo que voy a comprar es lo siguiente:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600.
Placa Madre: B550M.
Memoria RAM: 16 GB DDR4 (2 módulos de 8GB) a 3200MHz.
Tarjeta de Video: NVIDIA RTX 3060 (12GB) o AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT (8GB).
Fuente de Poder: Mínimo 500W certificada 80 Plus.
Monitor: 24 pulgadas Full HD (1080p) con panel IPS a 60Hz
Periféricos: Kit de teclado y mouse cómodos y que sean baratos, logitec seguramente
Si valdrá la pena?
