Was the name “Jay Easton” chose intentionally? Was it supposed to be a subtle reference to Jeffrey Epstein?

There’s no way that was a coincidence? Anyone else have the same thought?

Liked the ending but was confused about one thing. Ed George knew that Catherine was going to the Easton house only because Alice shouted that out, no? Why did Alice do that then? That only gave them time to destroy evidence.
