Was wondering if Gotrek is worth using? I know he hits hard, but he's also about 300 points (an incredible points per dollar ratio though) so is he worth adding to the army or should I proxy him as something else like a Battlesmith? I ask cause he's the closest to a "named" character the Fyreslayers have, he's a cool character and his model is dope

Recently got the original Start Collecting for (including tax and shipping) 100 USD (the Magmadroth alone is 122 USD from GW). Very excited to start this army, I know there are rumors going around but I couldn't pass up on this Boxset, especially for the price. I also found a copy of the Dawnbringers set, was wondering if I should pick that up before the Spearhead or should I just stick with this set for now (unless I get lucky and find this Boxset for a great deal again)

I had a random thought about a different take on my current list. It does feel weird dropping bodies after having used so many for so long. I would have to go buy another Droth though to complete the list. Thinking about different lists a lots lately with a big charity tournament coming up soon and want the time to make sure I am settled on my list.
So what do you all think? Is there anything I should change or is it not as good as I thought?
So I was watching some Honest Wargamer post weekend battle report and Fyreslayers were doing great! But doing more monster mash than infantry. Should I have been primarily focusing on Magmas and should get more (currently only have 2), or are our infantry just highly underrated?
So, I have some Fyreslayers I want to paint up. I'd like to use their axes as an opportunity to practice some NMM. But for their gold I really just want to put down some true metallic gold to make it a little easier on myself. Will this clash and look weird together? Or will the NMM and real gold look fine together?
