I bought an account for a game and after the seller delivered i started checking everything and the more i checked the more it became clear that it was clearly a scam. Most likely as soon as 1 or 2 days would pass the seller is going to hack back the account as i was given basically half assed credentials to secure the account plus a shady ass email.

(Some reviews also confirmed my theory)

I haven't confirmed anything yet and i wanted to cancel it before the 3 days run out, however the report button is completely grayed out and i cannot click it, i cannot interact with anything but the confirmation of the delivery.

I lwk don't want this thing to go through but how do i stop ot exactly?

Is this normal? I don't know at all. I'm obviously +18 and I already prepared my ID for verification, but It just didn't ask for one, just a photo of myself.

The question is, has this happened to any other seller here? What happened after the 180-day balance freeze period ended? Will I get my sales money back, or what will happen? If anyone has an answer, I'd appreciate it.

Posting a brief explanation of my experience with G2G here as a cautionary tale for anyone thinking about using it. I decided to purchase a WoW account and ended up needing to file a dispute with my credit card company.

I purchased the account from a seller with 15+ positive feedbacks and no negative feedback. Communication was quick and purchase went smoothly at first. I followed G2G’s instructions to secure the account perfectly. The only red flag I noticed is that the (max level, raid geared) account only had about 250g on it. Obviously the seller had transferred the majority of gold off the account before selling it.

Well, big problem. One week later, the account was permanently banned for abuse of the economy. This was a ban wave on gold sellers. All I did during that week was level up Blacksmithing and do a couple of raids and some quests. Considering I was within the 2 week “warranty” period, I assumed this would be an easy conversation with G2G. Wrong.

G2G took over a week to reply to me initially. The conversation was essentially dozens of emails back and forth where G2G requested confirmation the account had been transferred that was impossible to produce.

This went on for about 2 months. I sent G2G every single email I received from blizzard, a video of myself logging into the account with their emails to me open in the background, every type of proof possible. Nothing was enough for them to even consider assisting me.

I filed a dispute with my credit card company and discovered that G2G has a whole automated system set up for disputes. Must happen to them a lot.

I knew going into this experience that a marketplace that exists solely to trade illicit products can only offer so much buyer protection, but G2G really goes out of their way to be awful.

Takeaway: it is possible to buy an account on G2G and get away with it, but it’s also possible that you get completely screwed and get no help from them. If you feel like rolling the dice, make sure you use a payment method that offers you strong recourse.

Has anyone had an issue sending money to G2G via USDC?

I’ve sent money multiple times they’ve always received it without a problem however… I’ve sent the payment like normal but this time the payment wasn’t detected for some reason?!

I’ve sent screenshots, proof that payment has been issued to the wallet address they’ve provided it’s been almost 5 working days they’re currently “looking into it”

Has anyone had any similar issues to this? If so what did g2g do?

G2G sent me an email this morning confirming a refund will be actioned in 5 working days.

i bought 11000 vp (valorant points) from g2g and i bought a bundle with them, a couple days later he refunded the purchase and i was left with no skins and -60$ and honestly the worst part is that g2g support have been no help, i tried contecting them and after showing proof and explaining the situation they werent willing to help me and just said that my case doesnt match their refund policy. also the seller went on to open another account with the same prices so no justice came and hell keep on scamming people. if you can help me with the case in anyway it would be really thankful.

So the item section for getting bundles cheap was removed last month with the kuronami 2.0 bundle release. Does anybody know a similar alternative that they switched to for cheaper valorant bundles?

So basically I escalated a refund case to g2g support because the seller had backhacked the account i recently bought. But it's been 4 days since I sent proof and email to g2g support and they havent responded with any update yet. Are they ghosting and waiting for the funds to be released to the seller or theyre just really taking their time? From you guys experience, how long did g2g reply back to you in regards to the refund case?

Also i wanna point out that theyve sent me the same automated response("​We understand that you are eager to receive a solution as soon as possible. Please be assured that we are doing our best to reach a fair resolution for you.

However, we still require some additional time to complete our investigation. We kindly ask for your continued patience while we wait for an update from our relevant department. We will notify you immediately as soon as we have more information.") whenever i tried asking for an update which makes me think their support is ai generated -_-...
