After 12 years, it was finally time to retire this ol... lol jk

the scratching feeling has gotten too bad to ignore as of recent, learned that skates are a thing, got the lady new shoes (magic ice) and random cheap grip tape to protect the 'rubber'. The rectangle tape in the back isn't intended layout, I just put it cus I realised it's a well- worn spot so it might help with grip. I just wish there was a better way to fix the cable than wrapping it in insulation tape. Yes I cleaned it throughoutly after zooming in on these.

good to go for another 12years 🧱🧱

Anyone who moved from a lightweight mouse found g502 to be super heavy ?

I moved from a g102 to this one a couple of days back. And as it's obvious I was used to the lightweight and smaller form factor of the g102, but I felt the need for an upgrade and got this.

The mouse has been excellent and I love using it, but I can't get away from the feeling that it's too heavy and might Hinder my usage.

Anyone with similar experience? Or does it get better with usage ?

Anyone here use the G502 for FPS games ? How's your experience?

Wanted to know how the experience is with people using the G502 for FPS games like Valorant or CS and if there are people who actually find it better than lightweight ones.

Superglide type S or type C?

Looking at getting glass skates what does everyone like? The super glide type s or type c I heard type s is way too slick

The best to ever do it.

After 7 years~ of use my g502 yearned for more but I decided to let it rest. As I visited a tech shop I realized that this mouse is the peak of its kind and thus, I bought another.

Finally switched over, nice so far but I HATE the placement of the DPI buttons

I really don't know what they were thinking with this, buttons that change your DPI pretty much right on the edge of the left click, the by far more commonly used mouse button? I kept clicking them by accident, had to disable them first thing in the software. Still keep clicking them by accident but at least they aren't doing anything anymore, can't really assign them to something else since the whole reason I disabled them was due to constantly mis-clicking them.

Personally I think it was a really really dumb idea to put them here of all places, it's just asking for accidental clicks. Literally every time I am left-clicking, I hear and feel three clicks, from my finger pressing both the left-click and BOTH DPI buttons at the same time.

Oh well, at least I finally have a decent mouse again with a good scroll wheel (Going to have to keep reminding myself that I can scroll horizontally too now) and a snipe button again, haven't had one since my old RAT 5 from many years ago. Just wish these DPI buttons were practically anywhere else.

Heavy G502 mod

So there a lot of post where people been trying to shave down the G502 weight, but here my take of a mod. I have added in the mouse underside and internal shell crevice with tungsten putty.

From the extra weight placed on this mouse, using my other G502 (normal) is like its weightless, just like if I were to make a lightweight mod to the mouse.

So, If you want to make your mouse more lighter have a heavy training mouse haha.

If you own a 3D printer, you need to print one of these

Uses the powerplay pins to charge your mouse, just drop it on there at night and you'll have a topped up mouse next time you use it. The power connection is just 2 M3 screws as contacts and an old USB cable I cut up

retired from heavy mice so i gutted my 6 year old g502 lightspeed

i did get kinda lazy halfway modding this because of my studies, but planning to custom cut griptape from large sheets, change the wheel, battery, and make it look slightly more presentable in the future. for now this is fine for a mouse i don't use.

still have many parts of the mouse not swiss cheesed so i could probably bring this down under 80 grams if really needed

Is the g502 line good for mmos

I wanna get a mouse for playing mmorpgs. Im stuck between the aerox 9 , naga 2 or g502 x plus. Is the g502 even considered a mmo mouse? Can I map all the different buttons to spells and skills?

Need a recommendation from a G502 hero lover

Hey guys,

I have always loved the g502 hero and just bought my second after 3 years bc my dog ate the cable lol. But I’ve noticed a slight decline in quality?? The mousewheel specifically. I also would love something a bit lighter and preferably wireless? Any recommendations?

I love the shape of it as I use a weird ass grip and am so used to the side buttons but don’t get much use out of the top ones.
