Hi everyone, I messed up my WhatsApp migration and desperately need advice on recovering my chats.What Happened:The Switch · Moved from an old Samsung phone to a new OnePlus Nord Lite.The Mistake · Forgot to do the QR code scan transfer. I just swapped the SIM card instead.The Result · New phone loaded a blank slate. I then opened WhatsApp on my old Samsung, and it updated to a blank slate too.Current Data State:The Good · I have a local msgstore.db.crypt14 backup file saved on my old phone that goes up to December 2025.The Bad · I cannot find or access any chat data from January 2026 up until yesterday.Steps Taken · I tried using AI tools for fixes and requested a WhatsApp account report, but nothing has restored the actual chat logs.

My Questions: Is the data from Jan 2026 to yesterday gone forever since it wasn't backed up, or is it hidden somewhere in the local Android system files?Any guidance would be deeply appreciated!

I download Whatsapp litex a week ago and only linked it without actively using it, it was always on airplane mode, today my main Whatsapp has logged out and asking for the code in my another device, i only linked it to my laptop and litex, litex was logged out too, i dont have my access to my laptop rn as im in a trip, what to do?

I'm on a galaxy s22+ on one ui 8.0 and got what app gb plus from 9aleh today but I keep getting the error, "Couldn't Link device. Something went wrong." I've restarted my phone, tried casting gb WhatsApp screen on Samsung dex then scan on WhatsApp on the phone but no change. I even tried desktop WhatsApp which allowed me link my computer to normal WhatsApp but not the gb WhatsApp. what can I do to fix it? I did also reinstall a couple times

Hace unos 15 días compré un número nuevo de celular (línea Personal, Argentina) y lo registré a mi nombre. Instalé WhatsApp Business en mi teléfono Dual SIM, mientras que en el mismo celular tengo WhatsApp normal con mi número anterior.

El problema es que aproximadamente cada 24 horas WhatsApp Business pone mi cuenta “en revisión” y no me permite usarla. Solicito la revisión, me vuelven a habilitar la cuenta y, aproximadamente 24 horas después, vuelve a suceder exactamente lo mismo.

La cuenta de Business está prácticamente vacía. No envío mensajes masivos, no inicio conversaciones masivamente ni hice nada extraño. De hecho, prácticamente no la he utilizado porque el problema comenzó desde el principio.

Lo único que hice fue vincular WhatsApp Business con Facebook, Instagram y Mercado Libre.

Ya solicité la revisión muchas veces y WhatsApp solo me responde que vuelva a solicitarla desde la aplicación, pero el problema continúa.

¿A alguien le pasó algo parecido? ¿Pudieron solucionarlo? ¿Puede tener relación con usar dos números de WhatsApp (normal + Business) en el mismo teléfono o con alguna de las vinculaciones?

Cualquier experiencia o solución me sirve muchísimo. 🙏

I downloaded, scanned, installed, scanned Abu Saleh's WhatsApp Mods v26.86 and it scored 1/77 on Virus Total.

The 1 hit was Android.Riskware.TestKey.rA which seems to show up when a MODder signs the APK with a debug signature (since (s)he is not the developer).

Just consider this as an update on my previous post. I don't have any affiliation with whichever Whatsapp MOD (and would like to keep it this way) but use the one that suits my purpose best (and so should you). Usage by linking method is recommended.

For what it is worth it, for now, I have a positive opinion on Abu Saleh's MOD (again), MB Mod and Walitex. If you want to try one of these, go ahead and do it at your own risk. Google or look in the subreddit for the download link or location, I am not going to share; a little bit of effort by the one who wants it, is the least I'd say.

Got a new phone and transferred my sim to it and tried logging into WhatsApp. Can’t remember 2FA code so I try the other methods but after that I put in my birthday and it says “an error occurred please contact customer service” or something like that

Any tips or help yall can provide?

I only see a couple other threads about this, and I couldn't find an answer. This is supremely annoying.

I basically resorted to just putting my new number in my "about section".

Is there anything else I can do? I thought about switching and switching back, but AI advised against doing that coz could lose history or whatsapp can lock you out!

I have a samsung phone galaxy A15 and i got whatspap at around december 2025 and started texting my friends but around 2nd of may 2026 i deleted all my messages and i cant remember how, whether it was on the app or i reininstalled the app, because i started talking about my crush to one of my friends and my mum sometimes scrolls through my mesdages and she would drive crazy if she saw messages about my crush bur after that i realised i could have pressed "delete for me" and now i miss my deleted messages and want them back but my last backup was "never", i really want ro read through my old messages, if there's a way please tell me.

WhatsApp- up to date

As the title says, for the last 2 days, I have not been "receiving" any messages on WhatsApp, until I unlock my phone and open WhatsApp- then I am flooded with all messages.

Moreover, when my phone is locked and someone messages me, they get only single ticks (messages aren't getting delivered).
Even calls stay at "calling", not "ringing".

All other apps are working fine, no issues like this.

WhatsApp has unrestricted data usage on, background usage on, all notifications on, and necessary permissions on (photos, media, files, contacts, etc.)

I've restarted my phone, re-installed WhatsApp- no help.

This is getting extremely frustrating.

Is anyone else facing this?
How do I solve this?
