Possible mistaken Responsible Gaming exclusion due to family account association?
I’m posting this because I genuinely don’t understand what happened with my GGPoker account and I’m looking for advice from anyone who may have experienced something similar.
A few days ago, my account was permanently closed by the GGCares / Responsible Gaming team. However, the emails I received never mentioned cheating, RTA, bots, collusion, or any kind of game integrity violation.
Instead, every email focused entirely on:
* “Responsible Gaming”
* “Excluded Status”
* “Protecting players from gambling harm”
* Gamcare references
They also allowed me to withdraw my remaining balance, including cash
What makes this situation even more confusing is that I had recently completed my real name verification successfully and fully cooperated with every verification request from support.
Additionally:
* I am a regular winning player on the platform
* I always used my own verified account
* I had previously clarified to support that family members had used the same PC/network in the past
Recently I realized something important:
My brother was permanently excluded from GGPoker in the past, and we share:
* the same last name
* the same household/network history
* and previously shared devices
Because of this, I now genuinely believe my account may have been incorrectly associated with his previous exclusion through an automated Responsible Gaming / exclusion linkage system.
To clarify everything, I already sent GGPoker:
* my ID
* my brother’s ID
* photos proving we are different individuals
* handwritten verification with today’s date and my GG nickname
* full explanations of the family relationship and account history
Despite this, support keeps replying with template-style responses saying the decision is final and they cannot discuss internal processes.
I’m not trying to attack GGPoker or create drama. I’m honestly just trying to understand whether anyone has seen a similar situation before, especially involving:
* family members
* shared devices/networks
* Responsible Gaming exclusions
* or mistaken account associations.
Any serious advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.
