Possible mistaken Responsible Gaming exclusion due to family account association?

Possible mistaken Responsible Gaming exclusion due to family account association?

I’m posting this because I genuinely don’t understand what happened with my GGPoker account and I’m looking for advice from anyone who may have experienced something similar.

A few days ago, my account was permanently closed by the GGCares / Responsible Gaming team. However, the emails I received never mentioned cheating, RTA, bots, collusion, or any kind of game integrity violation.

Instead, every email focused entirely on:

* “Responsible Gaming”

* “Excluded Status”

* “Protecting players from gambling harm”

* Gamcare references

They also allowed me to withdraw my remaining balance, including cash

What makes this situation even more confusing is that I had recently completed my real name verification successfully and fully cooperated with every verification request from support.

Additionally:

* I am a regular winning player on the platform

* I always used my own verified account

* I had previously clarified to support that family members had used the same PC/network in the past

Recently I realized something important:

My brother was permanently excluded from GGPoker in the past, and we share:

* the same last name

* the same household/network history

* and previously shared devices

Because of this, I now genuinely believe my account may have been incorrectly associated with his previous exclusion through an automated Responsible Gaming / exclusion linkage system.

To clarify everything, I already sent GGPoker:

* my ID

* my brother’s ID

* photos proving we are different individuals

* handwritten verification with today’s date and my GG nickname

* full explanations of the family relationship and account history

Despite this, support keeps replying with template-style responses saying the decision is final and they cannot discuss internal processes.

I’m not trying to attack GGPoker or create drama. I’m honestly just trying to understand whether anyone has seen a similar situation before, especially involving:

* family members

* shared devices/networks

* Responsible Gaming exclusions

* or mistaken account associations.

Any serious advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

GGPoker closed my account and I’m still waiting for my balance withdrawal after 2 weeks – how long does this usually take?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice or shared experiences from people who dealt with a similar situation with GGPoker.

Recently my account was permanently closed after a security review. I’m not going to discuss the exact reason publicly, because I already accepted their decision and I’m not trying to argue about the ban itself.

The problem is that I still haven’t received my remaining balance. Their support informed me that my funds would be refunded manually after verification. Since then, I’ve provided all requested documents multiple times (payment method ownership verification, screenshots, etc.), and every time I follow up I either get no response or I’m asked again for the same documents.

At one point I was told the withdrawal would be processed within 24 hours after verification, but it’s now been almost 2 weeks since the decision and I still have no confirmation whether the withdrawal is actually being processed.

I’m starting to get seriously worried because:

  • I’ve fully cooperated from the beginning,
  • I provided everything they asked for several times,
  • support responses are extremely inconsistent,
  • and there is basically no clear timeline or status update.

I’m not trying to start drama — I just genuinely want to understand:

  • Has anyone here gone through a manual withdrawal after account closure?
  • How long did it take for you to actually receive the money?
  • Is this kind of delay normal with GGPoker?
  • Is there anything else I should do at this point besides continuing to email support?

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences because the lack of communication is making this situation very stressful.

Thanks in advance.

Time bank Way too little

Not enough timebank even when I am one tabling the 525 10m gtd world festival

Each decision feels like only 10 seconds and we only get 5 timebanks in the beginning

one tough decision and then all time is gone and then have to play bingo poker afterwards with no time to think on the river.

I much prefer the orginal 100 seconds timebank and 5 seconds buffer when your time goes out.

Much better for the game!

What do you guys think?

Explanation needed

Explain please. How could anyone in their right mind go broke here on the flop with 22 unless they knew they were hitting a set on the turn? I'm losing to crap like this without fail.

Can We Get an Option to Mute Players?

Get's old being needled every hand for months by the same schizo person. Would be nice to be able to just block them. Don't need to see them sperg out for my attention even though I haven't said a word to them. I understand they added the helmet of weakness but honestly most people are okay. Being able to mute just 1 or 2 people would be a huge upgrade for enjoyability.

How long will this downswing over? (edited with full graph)

Since you guys want to see the full graph with numbers to get a clear idea and I can't change the attached picture on my previous post, I create a new one with full graph. I will delete the old post.

This graph is my tournament winloss taken from my pokercraft. This last two and half months have been brutal for me. Always busted out at critical stages. Premium hole cards (Aces, Kings, Queens) have always been beaten by weaker hole cards thanks to the river or the turn. I'm aware to win an mtt with about a thousand participants do need luck. Am I running out one?

If anybody have longer downswing than me feel free to post your graph to make me feel a little bit better lol...

One more thing that I noticed during the downswing

Players with total tournaments winning are under $100 (you can see it by clicking their profile) seem always getting unbelievable luck! It's so hard to beat them no matter how reckless the decision they make, the cards on community board will help them win anyway. I assume they are new depositors on GGPoker and the RNG seems bias to protect them. I'm aware that a new player who just recently make a deposit on GGpoker does not mean he is also new to poker. But judging on how some of those players play their hand (like make a reckless decision while the community board was obvious), look like they are really new to the poker game and somehow still get the win mostly thanks to the river! I don't remember if I had this kind of luck when I was still a new player on GGPoker.

Did anybody else also notice this? If you guys somehow busted out to a player who make ridiculous decision, just click their profile and see his total tournament winning!

NL25 Rush on GGPoker Completely Destroyed My Confidence — Am I Experiencing Extreme Variance or Something Else?

I've been grinding NL25 Rush on GGPoker for months and I need honest opinions from people who play high volume there.

Before anyone says “variance”, please read first.

I documented dozens and dozens of hands during the action, BEFORE showdown, saying things like:

- “I'm going to lose this AA”

- “KK will lose again”

- “I'm leading turn and river will kill me”

Then I posted the result after the hand. And it happened repeatedly.

This is not about one bad beat.

Over weeks/months I collected:

- AA cracked repeatedly

- KK losing over and over

- dominated hands improving against me

- leading turn and losing river constantly

- flushes completing in critical pots

- coolers in huge stack spots

- an event I calculated around 1 in 86 million probability

And before people say “confirmation bias”, understand this:

I’m not talking about remembering bad beats emotionally. I literally PRINTED the hands during play and predicted the outcome before showdown many times.

What destroys my confidence isn't one hand.

It's the repetition pattern.

Sometimes it feels like:

- I improve, villain improves more

- I hit turn, river kills me

- I get premium, board runs worst possible

- I finally build momentum, then lose multiple stacks in brutal spots

PokerCraft often shows profit or decent EV spots, but real balance gets destroyed by rake + massive all-in losses.

I genuinely want serious opinions:

- Is this just extreme variance?

- Is Rush poker psychologically distorting perception?

- Are bots/RTA making games feel unnatural?

- Has anyone else documented patterns like this over large samples?

Please don't answer with “lol variance” unless you've actually played massive Rush volume.

New ways to surprise me 😅

Curious how other regulars mentally deal with these kinds of hands without letting it affect their next sessions.

GG poker…. Killing the uk market

GG seem to be set on killing the uk market. I know I am not alone in being asked for an excess of documents to prove I can afford a £100 limit a month…. I showed wage slips of 3 months showing good money and bank statements where there is usually 2k surplus money a month … Then they question why I have this money … clearly the wage slips meant nothing to them, so I show them data from my work portal that I’m probably not supposed to share, now more questions and more requests .. once I mentioned I put money in a joint account they want to see that statement … out of the question and an invasion of privacy. No other site has treated me this bad, I know the regulations have changed and believe me 15 years ago when I earned peanuts and was maxing out credit cards in online casinos I would have welcomed such checks, but peoples circumstances can change, and evey other site seems to have no issue except gg. One or two sites have been unreasonable but I’m not interested in playing with them in that case, however as gg have cornered the market and virtually killed off all other sites, and become the main sponsor of most uk live evens, I am being denied poker opportunities due to this stupid over protective system which is now looking more like data harvesting. I have already shared more data with them that I feel comfortable and refuse to give in…. If someone with a four figure bank balance can’t afford £100 then who is it exactly they want? Is the problem that they don’t want small stakes players and only want people who can lose thousands a month?! Absolutely ruining poker for me ….

GG PokerCraft graph vs cashier balance at 10NL - is the difference rake?

https://preview.redd.it/x082xz9tf61h1.png?width=2168&format=png&auto=webp&s=70c8a30c3e841d283350172e8e752bc46e2c2ffc

Played 698 hands of 10NL on GGPoker today.

PokerCraft shows:

  • Green line / Win-Loss: +$50.89
  • All-in EV: +$41.37

But my actual cashier balance is only up around 20€ (~23,30$) after the session.

Is PokerCraft showing gross winnings before rake, or should the graph already be net of rake?
Could this entire difference just be rake/fees at GG 10NL, or am I missing something obvious?

Is it possible that I paid more in rake than I actually won net?

Fair Random Cards in Zoom Game

I have been playing poker on Zoom for a long time, and I’ve found there are serious problems with its random card dealing system. In less than ten thousand hands, I have already hit four straight flushes and five four-of-a-kind hands. This has never happened to me in all my years of playing poker.

I’m looking for a better platform to play on.

Zoom has become unbearable — the rake is far too high, and there are constant strange river suck-outs.
