Good Gh-5 Deal?

Hey, I'm just getting into cinematography and after a longer research am looking to buy a Gh-5 for a start. Right now I'm looking at a used deal for a Gh-5 with V-log unlocked, a Lumix G Vario 12-60mm, a Panasonic AF 25mm, a Panasonic Micro 4/3 Lumix G Vario 14-42mm, 2 original batteries + battery grip and the rest of the standard batterie equipment, a SmallRig Cage and a bag for 700 Euro all in allegedly perfect condition. As far as my research goes I'm looking at a great deal but what do you guys think? Are there any specifics I should check for if they're working when I pick the stuff up? Thanks in advance!

The GH5 for life

Does anyone else feel almost emotionally attached to their trusty GH5? Honestly, I feel so familiar with it at this point and it's been with me through events, festivals, interviews, weddings and promo shoots all without skipping a beat. It's literally seen what I've seen and It's almost like a buddy at this point, a loyal companion in this crazy video journey.

I shot with the G80 before and was pining for the GH5 for years. And man oh man did it not disappoint, surpassing everything I hoped it would be.

Does anyone else just love the 'look' that the GH5 produces? All technical specs aside, there's something about the picture itself that is so nostalgic to me. A 'wholesomeness' almost. Not overly sharp, a tiny bit grainy and just beautiful to my eye.

I also shoot with the GH5S as a second camera on times where I have to shoot in low light. They are the perfect duo, same batteries, same lenses, same reliability.

But yeah that's all from me, I just felt like singing the GH5's praises on a sub that celebrates this legendary beast haha

Cheers!

Derek

Will this Sandisk Extreme Pro work?

https://preview.redd.it/8aiors1o7b1h1.jpg?width=2230&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34400440e0e7737dd02adbcd1d1aadfa6e2a88f3

When I first got my GH5 a few years ago I simply used SD cards I already have - a typical Sandisk Extreme SD card. Only to find out that it will choke up when recording long 100 Mbps clip, rendering it useless to my work. So I looked for something better...

https://preview.redd.it/vl2tbi4t7b1h1.jpg?width=2218&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9adc179bb7644e0d16f54d43478c7aca546730f8

Later switched to this Lexar 1667x (UHS-II) which works well ever since. Since I didn't need any higher capacity at that time so I din't bother buying anything bigger than that.

Fast forward to today - now I'd like to expand its capacity to at least 128GB, only to find out that today's SD card price had been more than DOUBLED since last purchase. Now the price for a 128GB (UHS-II) card is unfortunately quite beyond my budget limit.

However since I'm only using 4K 8bit/10bit recording mode most of the time hence no more than 150Mbps needed. Wondering if Sandisk Extreme Pro, like the one in the above picture, would still get the job done? Yes it's only UHS-I, and rated at just V30. On the specsheet it seems not too different than the first (non-pro) Sandisk I had. But since the price is very tempting to me, should I pull the trigger?

Mobile app for remote recording and live preview

How reliable is the Panasonic GH5 mobile app for remote recording and live preview?

I’m planning to control the camera from my phone, start/stop recording remotely and monitor framing through the live view.

Is the connection stable enough for real shooting situations? Any latency or disconnect problems?
