Hello everyone I am jee dropper and unable to qualify that exam and i m currently joining gl bajaj this year knowing that this.

is very strict but I have heard that from 2nd year there is not so much of restrictions nd strictness

As compared to 1st year.

So please whoever is joining this college

Please reccomend your opinion towards this college

So that it might be easy to make friends.

I'll be joining this college this year in CSIT branch and I've researched a lot and talked to a lot of seniors and what I know I'll write everything here

1) First Year Classes will be from Monday to Saturday.

2) Second Year Classes will be 5 days per week

3) 75% attendance is compulsory.

4) There will be uniform (mereko koi dikkat nahi)

5) There will be almost no coding culture in 1st year but from second year you can do whatever you want

6) You won't be able to join clubs , fest and all but from second year everything you can join.

7) According to official data avg package is 7.35 LPA and Media is 5 LPA(NIRF data)

8) This year total College fees will be 7 lac for 4 years.

9) Hostel OR PG is up to you but first year hostel fees is

• Boys Hostel 3 seater with AC :- 155000 + 5K laundary

• Boys hostel 3 seater with non AC :- 135000+5k laundary

• Girls Hostel 2 seater with AC :- 180000+5k laundary

• Girls Hostel 2 Seater with Non AC :- 160000+5k laundary

But honestly I want to grind my ahh off for 4 years so that's good for me.

Just wondering tho , is it really worth it ??

Like if im ready to give me 100% , would it be worth it in the future at the time of my placement ???

Will the college provide enough opportunities ?

What about clubs ? Hackathons ? Sports ?

I heard so much about it's strictness, attendance policy, compulsory dress.

Honestly I don't have problem with that unless the placements are good enough that can get me a good ROI.

How is the MCA placement, it's faculty, coding culture?

What type of companies come for MCA?

I am an average with 8.1 cgpa in ug. I can do dsa and have good coding skills so for me how much can I get? Is 3-4lpa common there?

Is it manageable to come to this college travelling 2 hours 20 min one way daily ??? I live in dwarka i cannot afford pg???

Like I have 90 in 10th but dropped to 65 in 12th🙏

Bhai kisi ne college visit kiya ho last 2-3 days m to CSE CORE & CSE Specialisation k liye kitni percentage ka criteria hai G L BAJAJ ka?

I am currently confused between these two colleges

Graphic era has pros of being in Dehradun and quite gud campus Life on the other hand GL bajaj noida (as I have listened) has very gud placements but campus Life in GL bajaj is not gud

My primary concerns are Placements and Campus life

Also GL bajaj has damn gud ROI

So is this real that GL bajaj has very bad college life or its just hype??

And should I go to Graphic era as it has more superior campus Life??

• is it worth the fees overall?

My priority - good blend of OP placements plus college life(I can compromise a bit on college life but not on placements as I have to earn big as I got railed in jee adv so there would atleast be some respect for me in my home 😭😭😭).

Can only except tier 3 IITs lower branches 💔

guys pls help me buy a laptop under 60k for cse, i'm so lost rn

bhai seriously kuch samajh nahi aa raha. joining btech cse this year and everyone around me is buying laptops and i'm just standing there like 🧍

budget is 60k max, can't go above that. problem is i don't even know which specialization i'll pick yet — could be aiml, could be web dev, could be anything honestly. so idk if i should be buying something heavy duty or normal is fine.

mainly gonna use it for coding, assignments, maybe some light gaming on weekends (nothing crazy). battery should be decent bc college hours are long and i'm not carrying a charger everywhere like it's my lifeline

seen some people suggest lenovo ideapad, asus vivobook, hp pavilion type stuff in this range. but every youtube video says something different and i'm genuinely cooked trying to figure this out.

jo bhi use kar rahe ho apne college mein, bata do please. real experience wala — not just spec sheet copy paste. which one actually holds up after like 1-2 years of actual use?
