Looking for a GMAT Study Partner

Looking for a GMAT Study Partner

Hey everyone! I’ve just started preparing for the GMAT and I’m planning to take the exam in December.

I’ve recently started with Critical Reasoning (CR) and am looking for someone who is also preparing for the GMAT and would like to study together, discuss questions, share strategies, keep each other accountable, and stay motivated throughout the preparation.

I’m open to connecting with someone at a similar stage, regardless of location. Ideally, we can have regular study sessions/calls and help each other stay consistent.

If anyone is interested, feel free to DM me!

First GMAT attempt 525, retake in 5 weeks- ways to improve?

I took the test yesterday and scored a 525 (V78, Q78, DI72). My highest mock was 585 (V82 Q82 DI72). I’m planning to retake in 5 weeks, aiming for 645-675. What’s the best way to improve DI? I suck at it because of timing and don’t know when to cut a question lose. For QA I think I have most concepts nailed down but get stuck at a few questions and rush through the rest. VA was solid for me for mocks but can improve. Any tips/ resources? I’ve mostly used OG material and Mocks yet. Thinking of purchasing GMAT club sectional tests. Thoughts?

First GMAT attempt: 605 (Q82, V81, DI77) — planning retaking in 7 to 9 weeks, would love advice on how to approach the retake

Gave my Gmat on the 13th August and endded up with 605(Q82, V81, DI77). I thinking of taking TTP or E-gmat or a personal tutor to help me with verbal & DI particularly.

Quant
I was dissappointed with Quant - 82. I made silly mistake on Q4 & Q5 which i reliased during review and corrected both the questions. I got 19/21 questions correct but I think due to the silly mistakes early on I was penalized. I questions got so easy that I had 10 minutes to review the questions.

Verbal
This section went as expected. I am weaker on Reading Comprehension(especially inference questions). My time mangement on Verbal is not good. I had to sacrifice 4 questions of Reading comprehension so that I can attempt CR (my stronger section) with enough time on hand.

Time Management on verbal

Data Insights
My weakest section. Data sufficiency and MSR always consume huge amount of time which hampers my Graph & tables section.

Can you provide me with ideas on how to move forward. I am thinking of contacting some mentor/guide who could guide me on how to move ahead with this baseline. I am feeling kind of lost because i have completed Gmat Ninja youtube playlist for Verbal & Data insghts. And had taken Wizako classes for Quant, Verbal & data insights.
I had thought of contacting Gmat ninja mentors for guidance but i found $320 per hour costly hence still exploring my way ahead.

Thank you! and eagerly waiting for your guidance.

Need advice for getting 685 in 7 weeks.

Hey everyone! I have my GMAT in 7 weeks and I’m targeting 685+ on my first attempt. I’m currently good at Quant, but I still struggle with hard CR questions, especially understanding them quickly within 2 minutes, and I also find TPA and MSR difficult and time-consuming. I took one diagnostic mock about 3 months ago and scored 415, but since then I’ve completed around 3 months of e-GMAT preparation and improved significantly.
Most of my education before university was in my mother tongue, so reading and understanding difficult English passages quickly is still a challenge. I’m also in the 3rd year of my bachelor’s, so I need to balance GMAT prep with assignments. What would you suggest for the next 7 weeks in terms of CR/DI improvement, mock frequency, timed practice, and official questions? Is 685+ realistically achievable if I prepare consistently from now?

Gmat exam cancelled

Hi all,

I want to share my experience from today at the Pearson Center in Gurugram

I had a GMAT appointment at 11:45 am and arrived at the venue around 11. The staff informed me that there might be a delay due to a technical issue and that my exam could start later than scheduled. But at 12:15pm i.e. 30mins after my scheduled time, he said the exam will get rescheduled, and I will have to book a new date. Was there a global outage? Did this happen with someone else as well today?

495 official attempt - looking for budget friendly personalised support

Hi,
I was enrolled in a course from tope one percent and just gave my first official attempt after just completing the course with minimal practice as I wanted to get acquainted with the test centre environment. Got 77 percentile in quants, 14 in verbal and 34 in DI. Verbal was a shocker because I believed it was my strongest section. Anyways have a sabbatical till 10th September from my office and looking for personalised trainer to help me reach to 695+ by then.

Difficulty in navigating through gmat club

I thought of doing self prep. Watched concept video if Aruthmetic on gmat ninja YT and then wanted to do some questions on gmat club. And honestly I have spent upwards of 1.5 hour in the website and not been able to figure out how to go about the question bank.

Am I the only one??!

Can’t find OG questions. Filtered out Aruthmetic in Priblem Solving under Question bank but then it’s giving out like 1000s of tabs?? How to even navigate through this. Someone please help me.
