I have played first Grime and dropped it pretty soon.
Only remember that parry was pretty much necessary (I could be wrong about this, but this is what I remember 😅 ) and I really disliked that part.
What about Grime 2? Is parry required in it? Or you could beat game without parrying?
I beat the second game (it was absolutely incredible), read most of the item descriptions and bestiary entries but still have some questions about the lore of the game:
- What are the frails? Where did they come from and where are they (other than Marah)?
- Did the "world" from the first game also have frails? There are Yr in the first game but I'm not sure if they are also connected to Lahav
- How do some characters travel between these "worlds"? Like for example Goldmask or that one merchant
- Do we die at the end of the first game? Or does it only sever our connection with the Yolk? Or do we die because we were already hatched?
- Where did we come from? And what exactly is the Yolk?
- Do the creatures in the second game not suffer from the old pain? Is it because the first game's breath partly come from a diffrent cosmic entity and was meant for the child?
And I know that these might be questions that the devs want to be left unanswered but still would love to get some more info about the game's world, hopefully there will be future DLCs
