gta v legacy start issue i press play button and nothing happens

So i got back to gta 5 after years and got enhanced cuz i heard that + NVE looks good. so i did install NVE first thing. then menyoo

then i wanted some cars and maps. first one i tried was malibu mansion (addon) and used openIV+openrpf. at first it didnt launch. then i found a workaround by u/Gold-Min3

this basically said it ran NVE from openIV/openrpf loader itself, instead of relying on onigiri.

the game was now launching. it was all good, but, when i drove close to the mansion, the game froze for a split second, then crashed. same happened when i tried car mods (even ones labeled as for enhanced)

now heres the issue. the game is running, but i cant use addon mods, because the game crashes. scripts work tho, like mapeditor, trainers and all

maybe NVE is causing this. it gives a warning that openrpf isnt compatible with NVE, and might cause problems.

also, when i removed NVE's files from dlcpacks, it still booted for some reason???? so if anyone could explain what i am doing wrong. i am returning after years

I'm new to PC and GTAV and installed a mod that messed a lot of stuff up on my game if anyone has it or can find it that would be awesome because I cant seem to find it.

for some reason the police will pursue me and sometimes fire a few shots (but never at me) but other than that they just never shoot. they get out of their cars and just stand there. i only have a few mods installed, rde, rws, rwp, rampage trainer, and a mod that changes the base pistol into a glock. if anybody could help i would rlly appreciate. ive also noticed that when i download a mod using openiv the mod does not appear in the mods folder and it still works but i think its unrelated.

I’m using an MP Male character in Grand Theft Auto V story mode through a mod (character swap).

Gameplay is fine, but I have one issue during cutscenes — the character’s mouth doesn’t move at all when talking. Everything else works normally (animations, scenes, audio), just no lip movement, which kind of ruins immersion.

Has anyone faced this before when using MP Male in story mode?

Is there a fix or a mod that can make cutscene facial animations/lip sync work properly with MP models?

Would really appreciate any help or solutions.

For GTA 5…Well i m wondering, how is it done? For example: i want to add a car mod (car from real life) how do i do it?
And was there any mod ever made for this?

I’m really enjoying evolved and honestly I don’t want to do too much with my mods. Mostly graphics.. realistic traffic.. enhanced and added vegetation like lively world expansion (or one that’s free lol) real life cars and sounds etc.

I understand legacy is much much easier to mod and has way more mod support but I want to switch things up try modding the enhanced version of the game.. Any help?

So basically title. If I remove them from my game folder, i can play again. How so? How can I fix it? I can barely put any larger mods in because they need these additional .ini files and I can barely put any car mods, as it is, because apparently that makes my game crash as well.

I use to play GTA 5 on the PC a long time ago and i have loved mods love gameplay altering mods like LSPD First response, as well as some visual mods.

Does anyone have any suggestions on mods to download, especially ones some new ones that came out within the last decade haha

I’m feeling playing single player again to gear up for gta6. This time I’m playing on the steam deck. So I’m asking what are some good single player mods for a fun single player experience? I’m new to modding so this will be a learning experience so go easy on me. Not too many hard words.

I’m not looking for major graphic overhauls. I’m playing on steam deck after all. I’m mostly wanting map and customization upgrades. Stability is also real important.

What mod will put the online map with all the online updates in single player?

Is there a mod to allow a custom player character in single player?

Is there a mod to add the cars from online? I’d like to add some real cars based on cars I own in the game.

Any other really good mods to consider?

so im trying to install QoL Vehicle Fixes and i replicated every path mentioned in the README file into my mods folder

I did not create new RPF files for the RPF requirements, those i copied directly from the original path, should i have copied everything instead of replicating it? i dont't have much space on my drive so i did not want to add another 30gb of mostly waste to it so i decided to only replicate the neccesary files and... The game loads, but my mod is not loading.
I wanna know if i did something stupid or whatever

I have not played GTA V in years and am trying to get back in, so I installed the enhanced version. The world is pretty uninteresting, though (compared to newer games - in terms of random events and other things happening, making the world feel alive and/or reactive).

So I searched the net and only found one mod which seemingly deals with the "empty" world and thats "World of Variety". The latest version is paywalled, though, and the old version is only available for the legacy game.

So here comes the question:

I dont care that much about graphics, I care more about a lively world in which you can do stuff, interact with NPCs, spend your hard-earned dollars on things, etc. - so with that premise, which game version should I choose and which freely available mods could I install?

Any advice is highly appreciated.
