I just installed GW2, but I'm having difficulties understanding something about server selection.
The game detected my ip from Europe, and asked what server I want to play.
From what I understood about what I've been reading about servers is that you can't server hopping. So, how should I choose where to play to avoid server lag and I communicate better in English.
Hi, I'm stopping WoW (AGAIN) and I would like to comeback to GW2 but there is a thing that bother me a bit on GW2 is the heavy rotation gameplay. On WoW I play Enhancement Shaman, Fire Mage or Fury Warrior. Those classes doesn't really have a strict rotation but more of a priority based gameplay, I like reacting to proc.
Is there a specialisation which have a similar gameplay in GW2 ? I was thinking about Antiquary but I'm not sure if that what I'm looking for.

Hi all, I've been playing MMOs for YEARS and somehow avoided Guild Wars 2 completely. Asumed it was "too late" for me to jump in and give it a shot, but after the New World news and so many other great projects getting the plug pulled, I figured this is the time to give it a shot.
I assumed this was an outdated, dead-ish game. I was wrong.
This game is BEAUTIFUL in regards to the amount of content to do and the large-scale PvP is probably some of the best I've ever seen.
Created a quick video highlighting my experience as a first-time player in 2026, would love all of you vets' feedback and thoughts on some other things to try out in this game!
