We’re LemonVelvet, a four-person indie team from South Korea, and we’ve spent the past two years developing ZombiSeed—a story-driven joseimuke (female-oriented) Visual Novel × turn-based Card Battle RPG planned for Android and iOS.

Some of you may remember an earlier community post about ZombiSeed. We were genuinely happy and grateful to see the interest in our male MC—and the maid outfits! 😂

However, that post was based on information available during an earlier stage of development, and some details no longer accurately reflect the game. We wanted to share an official update to clarify its current premise, platforms, and relationship structure.

In a world devastated by the mysterious “Blossom” virus, infected humans become beautiful but deadly Flower Zombies. You play as the new Teacher of Class S at an elite Hunter Academy, surviving alongside five male students and one fellow teacher while uncovering their secrets, trauma, fractured relationships, and the truth behind the apocalypse.

Players can customize the protagonist’s name and choose either a male or female MC. The six central male characters are Lee Seoyoon, Kwon Daham, Kim Yohan, Kim Yul, Ren, and Floyd Owen.

To clarify, ZombiSeed is not a BL game, traditional otome game, or dating sim, and it does not feature romance routes. Instead, it explores different forms of affection and emotional connection, including trust, devotion, found family, rivalry, grief, and bonds that gradually deepen.

The MC also shares character-focused Card Stories and emotionally close moments with the cast, with some dynamics intentionally left open to personal interpretation.

4. English and Korean text
5. Planned for Android and iOS
6. Free English PC demo available now

The current demo focuses on the Visual Novel and story portion of the game, so card battles are not included in this build.
