I bought this phone 1 month after the release. It was great honestly, I still use it and like it really much. But since the 8.0 update which was almost a year ago, my battery was the worst.

I could go with 2 chargings a day easily, battery drained heavily even if i didnt use the phone, it was overheating and it was trash.

I used every possible thing in the battery guide and i was disappointed i couldn't use some of the features.

Since the new update that was 1 month ago I freely use my phone without any restrictions (no battery savers, 120hz etc...) and its not overheating, it's lasting really good going only 1 charge a day and It's not draining at all when i dont use it.

It took 1 year to make this phone usable again, but now i could see myself using it for a long time.

Hows yall experience?

i was doing some construction and was really sweaty had my phone in my pocket and every time i would got up and down ladders my wet leg would hit my phone screen through the wet pocket and type in incorrect pins and now I'm locked out for like 4 hours. is there a override or something i could do without losing any data

So I'm at one ui 8.0 and I have the option to update to the 8.5, but my phones SOT is very bad, heats up alot for no reason. Should I get the 8.5 or stay where I'm at?

Hi, I've recently got the new 8.5 update. Since then, my phone has been getting hotter.

Yesterday, just when I was using my browser and searching for some info, the phone died with 60% of battery left. The phone was very hot, and I thought that it was weird. I left it sit for a brief moment and tried to start it again.

My battery is in good shape. I've always used slow charging and limited my charge, so that I wouldn't overcharge it.

When trying to restart, I was getting the Samsung Galaxy Logo. The phone couldn't get past it, so I tried the force restart. It didn't work either.

I tried several other things found on YouTube, such as tapping on the phone in different places, etc. Didn't work either.

Finally, I decided to do the volume up and power button combination while plugged in to a laptop. However, I can't access the recovery mode. Sometimes, I get the Samsung logo. Sometimes, I only get the black screen.

I've never had any issues with the phone until now. I've had the update for about a week.

Any tips on what could be done? It's beyond frustrating.

Update: So I went to a service center and got the phone diagnosed. I'm not the first one with a Samsung phone that has come to the guy recently. The issue is related to the processor overheating, which makes the phone stuck. He was able to access the phone after taking out the battery and putting it back but after a few minutes it got back into the same boot loop eventually ending up in a complete freeze. Reverting to the previous OS could possibly work but I haven't been able to access my phone again. It was my first and last Samsung phone. Had less issues with Chinese phones...

Hi! I recently did an insurance claim on my original A54 for a couple of things, such as damaged glass and potentially a swollen battery. Wanted to upgrade badly, but money is not looking right as of now, so opted for a replacement.

Just received my replacement, and after the setup and transfers, I noticed the back panel has slightly raised a bit.

Is this particular model known for having battery expansion issues? I just got this thing and am pretty annoyed this is happening straight out of the box.

So lately while using my phone, i noticed it started getting hot quite fastly. I don't really get it because the only thing i do is doing basic daily things like watching youtube and searching something up on google. I also play light games like roblox, brawl stars, etc. I never play heavy games or do heavy multitasking, so what's the problem then? Also, my phone is on One Ui 8.5 for anyone who needs it.

i updated my phone today and suddenly my wifi is laggy and slow but just on my phone, even near my router it still would not send vídeos or load any videos or images without taking 3/5mins to load in any app, do u guys know a solution to this?

(for context, before the update it never had issues like this, extra info: i use wifi 6)
