Anyone else finding Skullpanda pieces outside of official drops?

I’ve been collecting Skullpanda for a bit now, mostly sticking to official drops, but lately I’ve also been exploring secondhand options. I’ve seen some interesting listings through trades, resellers, and even a few live auctions on whatnot.

What surprised me is how often older series, opened boxes, or dupes pop up when people are downsizing collections. It feels more relaxed than fighting drop times, and sometimes you get to hear why someone is letting a piece go.

Not trying to buy or sell here, just curious. Are most of you sticking strictly to drops, or are you also picking up Skullpanda through secondhand or live platforms?

Device Care From One UI 8.5 in 8.0 Update

Samsung has released the update for the "Device Care" app in the Galaxy Store with a design similar to 8.5, AND WHEN WILL ONE UI 8.5 ITSELF COME??

Is the Samsung Galaxy A55 still worth it for the next 4 years?

Hey everyone,

I bought a Samsung Galaxy A55 about a week ago, and so far I’ve been enjoying it. The display, battery life, cameras, and overall design feel really solid for the price.

But lately I’ve been wondering if it was the right choice long term, especially since newer phones like the A56 have longer software support and slightly better performance.

Do you think the A55 will still be a good and reliable phone for the next 4 years for everyday use, social media, photos, watching videos, and some gaming?

I’d love to hear opinions from current A55 users or people who know Samsung’s A series well. 👀

Thoughts on One UI 8.5

This time, the whole world received the May security patch first, while Korea remains on the April update. Normally, Korea always gets patches first, so I think Korea will skip the May patch and One UI 8.5 will arrive for the Korean region in late May.

iPhone 13 to A56 - Worthy?

I previously used Pixel 5 then moved to iPhone 13. The main reason was that pixel 5 was lacking in so many aspects (like network issue, earphone behind display, battery health). During that time my company provided a MacBook so I wanted to experience Apple ecosystem. I saw my colleagues use universal copy paste between iPhone and MacBook and it was a 'whoa' moment for me. And as I like to take photos so it was iPhone.

After using it for like 9 months I miss android so much. iPhone feels so restrictive. And there are so many app resets when they are minimised. But the camera and overall experience (except some issues here and there) is pretty good.

But as my company going to take the MacBook in two weeks I am planning to move to an android.

Is it worth moving to a galaxy A56 after using an iPhone 13? Anyone out there who did the same? Can you share your experience?

How is the A56 camera overall? And the overall user experience?

Frustrated with the update

I've updated my phone after a year. I didn't updated my phone to One UI 7.0 when it came out because I read bad reviews, so I waited and now I've updated to Android 16 and One UI 8.0. My main frustration is the changes in the Edge panel. I used to capture images and GIFs with it but now it's different and I can't capture GIFs anymore 😭 I used it almost every day and now I don't have that tool anymore 😭

UI

I think we're seeing the beginnings of Samsung's liquid glass technology. It's actually quite clean. If they could implement it everywhere, like on the bottom oval that serves as the taskbar in the clock, for example.

(I'm on One UI 8, but some apps seem to have already been updated to 8.5)

How do I make my Phone look similar to IOS?

I would like to make my phone look like IOS or anything else that looks great, just not default one ui since it kinda hurts my eyes, something with glassmorphism or liquid glass would be great.

Help appreciated!

Autodownloading apps, do you know a way to fix this?

Does your phone also experience auto-downloading random apps on your samsung whenever:

  1. you switch your preferred sim card for mobile data, or
  2. you open and reinsert your sim card slot?
Auto-downloading only goes away after restarting the phone.

This annoys me so much that my mobile data is used in downloading random games without my permission.

Why the display looks blueish in A55, compared to s25 ultra which is pitch black when pixels are off.

This does looks cheap, using dark mode looks cheap because the display is blueish.

I have used cheaper phones than A55 but the display was much better.
