Best phone camera settings to record concerts

My partner likes to do this a lot. I am someone who really just doesn't comprehend this because I'd rather watch the concert myself in front of me than watching it in my phone months or years later. But I care about her a lot and want to help her out.

Her issue is she thinks it's always her phone that decides if her videos to record are shitty or not. Then she ends up getting a new phone every 2 years because of this. I just think it's her settings but correct me if I'm wrong.

She uses an Samsung S24 Ultra which is already a powerhouse of a phone which again makes me think you just have to adjust the settings correctly to accomodate for concert conditions and the zoom is already pretty good. She doesn't sit on the best seats but she got the S24 Ultra to watch concerts by zooming in and recording them.

What would be your advice on how to maximize settings or other advice that would bring out the best of her phone? She read somewhere to not record videos using the video option but instead to hold the middle button while taking a photo so that it "records" which is all just absurd to me having to do that.

Charging issue

S24 Ultra charging issue

My S24 Ultra is about 1 year old and has recently developed a strange charging issue. It only charges when the USB-C cable is inserted in one specific orientation. If I flip the cable over, the phone doesn’t detect the charger at all. I’ve tried multiple USB-C cables and the same thing happens, so I’m wondering if the phone’s USB-C port is the problem.

Previously, a full charge took around 1.5 hours. Over the last few days, it first increased to around 2.5 hours, and now it can take nearly 4 hours. When I plug it in, the estimate may initially show around 1 hour, but within a few seconds it jumps to 3–4 hours.

Could this be a damaged/dirty USB-C port, or could it be a charger/battery issue? If I continue charging this slowly, could it damage the phone or battery over time?

Xundd Case S24 Ultra

One of the best cases I've had for the S24U from Xundd.

Comes with a clicky rotating stand but still manages to be slim. Charges fine on my magnetic charger.

Light slim, with just enough protection, and very cheap as well at roughly $11

What’s a fair price for a 1-year-old S24 Ultra?

(Sold-58k) How much would you say a 1-year-old Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is worth in the current Indian market?

No scratches, no dents, and in excellent condition.

Upgrade from Samsung (S24 Ultra) to Pixel (11 Pro XL) - concerns about features

I've been a Samsung user for ages. For the past 8 years, I tried an iPhone for a bit, but it wasn't for me. The rest of the time, I've only used Samsung phones - Note and then S Ultra. I upgrade phones every year or two. Right now, I have an S24 Ultra, and I was planning on getting an S26 Ultra, but I'm not thrilled with it because the S Pen doesn't have enough features, and it looks too much like the S26 Plus. The Ultra models used to be more distinct. And I figured if I can't use the S Pen remotely, I might as well get a phone without one. That's when I started thinking about Pixel phones. I was worried about things like OneDrive gallery sync on Samsung because I really like it, but they're getting rid of it, so that's another reason not to stick with Samsung. I'm also concerned about how well it works with Windows, like copy-pasting between devices and Quick Share between my phone and PC. Does that work well on Pixel phones?

And I'm currently using a Galaxy Watch Ultra. I'm planning to switch to a Garmin Fenix later, but for now, my phone needs to work well with my watch. Any thoughts on that? Maybe someone recently switched from Samsung to Pixel and can share their experience?

RegiStar missing Buds Manager after enabling Menu order & group settings

Once you enable Menu order & group settings in RegiStar and move at least one item to another place, your Buds manager disappears, you lose access to your Buds...

This started happening with One UI 8.5, I already reported it on Samsung Members, weeks have passed, no update. I need your help reporting this issue, Samsung needs to update the Registar module to be compatible with One UI 8.5.

Thanks

Upgrading from S22 Ultra

Can anyone comment on which phone they liked best in the Ultra series.. S22, S23, S24...etc. I have an S22 Ultra that I love and I have had no issues with but updates are over. Should I wait for the S27 Ultra or simply just go with an older model like the S24 Ultra?

Root success for SM-S928W (Canada model) S24 Ultra!!

Yayy I just rooted my phone!

This root does not trip Knox, does not void warranty, can be undone by rebooting. S928W only but may work on B variants, just try and see.

My god AI is amazing. GLM5.2 had to dive pretty deep to figure out a surprising amount of things to change in order for it to work. Took about 3 hours total from "i want to root" to "success thanks".

XDAForum comment link is below, with the mediafire download Download, open, install, then download kernelSU. Root check apps will say the phone isnt rooted, but it will be.

Is super fast charging 2.0 a myth?

So I thought that if I bought the right charger, I would have Super Fast Charging 2.0 on my s24 ultra.

I bought this one...

S24 S25 Ultra Charger Type C,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B65K6C29?ref=ppx\_pop\_mob\_ap\_share

But it didn't show the status of "Super Fast Charging 2.0" so I thought it wasn't really compatible for that.

And then I have this one now...

130W 3-Port USB C Super Fast Car... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GLF194XJ?ref=ppx\_pop\_mob\_ap\_share

But it also doesn't show the status of "Super Fast Charging 2.0"

So, am I wrong? Is it already charging at the 2.0 speed, or does the two chargers I bought not really compatible, even they have the 45W USB-PD PPS charger block and a 5A E-marked USB-C to USB-C cable?

Or are both those chargers not compatible after all?

If they aren't, can you recommend me a charger? Or is this really not worth the extra speed in charging?

Thanks!

Edit:

Thanks for all of the replies!! Conclusion: it's not just a myth, maybe I just don't have the right charger/cable combination. Buying 2 separate items on Amazon, hopefully they work!

I just bought https://a.co/d/0h3Ap8I7 And https://a.co/d/0dn1bmJX

Hopefully these two do it!
