I recently upgraded to an S25 Plus because One UI 7 completely trashed the battery and performance on my old S21 Plus. I'm a bit traumatized by that experience—is One UI 8.5 stable enough? Specifically, how’s the battery life looking for those who’ve updated? I want to make sure it won't ruin this phone too.

Since installing the update back on May 3, my phone has been having issues with swiping/gliding on all keyboards. I haven't been able to figure out how to replicate the issue intentionally. Usually when I first start using the phone after it being in pocket for a while, it will act like gliding is disabled. I currently have Gboard set is my default keyboard. If I open the keyboard selector popup and select either gboard or samsung, gliding suddenly works. However, it will still intermittently just stop working. In addition, it almost never works in the address bar/search bar of the browser. Setting default back to the Samsung keyboard has not fixed this. Anyone know of a fix? My fat fingers cannot cope with trying to type accurately on a tiny phone keyboard.

edit: I have just figured out/noticed/realized that the keyboard looks different when the gliding isn't working. The image with the emoji button next to the space bar is correct and allows gliding, while the other one does not. Does this help narrow it down?

edit 2: If I'm deducing correctly, I think when it doesn't work, it's because it is acting like I'm entering a password. That would make sense, as the recent update was a security update.

S25 fe ₹45k / $470

S25 plus ₹68k / $715

My need is overall best phone.

Is ₹23k / $245 is worth paying more for plus or i should go with fe?

Is ₹68k / $715 is worth for the plus or not?

This is my first phone and i am getting it with my own money by taking little help with my dad so I am in loop of thought that it would worth the money or not.
