Samsung S9+ still going strong

My wife and I are still using our S9+. Batteries last all day. Took off any apps that dealt with banking or purchasing stuff. We left our email app on our phones. We realize that updates do not occur any more, but why get rid of our phone when they are working just fine?

Need help to make my S9 work perfect again

Hello there, i am using a 2019 bought samsung s9 G960F (international variant), basically the one with samsung's processor, it has been used heavily in these 7 years, slammed to the ground, dropped, slipped out while riding motorcycle. The battery has been deteriorated very much badly, it only last 5-6 hours even when not using, it even loses around 20% battery if in shut down state for 2-3 hours, it heats too tooo much, to the point where it can even burn my hand, only 10 gb is left out of 64gb, doesnt have much apps, no heavy apps, the heaviest app is whatsapp, too much sluggish. Need y'alls help in making it smooth AF, no sluggish, all perfomance, at the point where it could beat the mid budget phones of samsung (the latest ones). i cant install custom rom due to secure folder. it is running one ui 2.5, android 10. this is my first reddit post i hope the community helps...
P.S: I am also trying to get around with samsung dex and it lags too much, need help with that too

Battery Health is 75%

I check the battery health on the galaxy S9 using the dump state log check. I don't know the exact name of procedure. So should I replace the battery the life is pretty bad I have to charge it three times in a single day, I am reluctant because this is a original battery.

The phone is still going from and also should I install a custom ROM, and are there any stable versions of lineage OS, meaning that everything on the phone works fine after the flash. I need some opinions

Anyone else received an update?

I'm surprised to see my s9 plus receive an update after all these years. Last update was 2022. Not sure if I should install it though.

My wireless charger is having issues

So my s9 won't work with charge port. So I have a wireless charger. It works great but it was in my backpack and the part that you stand your phone on got squished and its still on there but loose, I used tape to keep it, it worked sorta but I switched to electrical tape. It sometimes makes quiet beeping noises when used. I really can't afford to get another one because my folks don't even know that I even have a flicking phone. I bought it from kid at my school with the wireless charger. I really don't want to see it break. I'm lonely and isolated because of my folks and its how I do art music friends videos everything

Please someone help

s9 mic works with speakerphone on, but sounds garbled with speakerphone off

People hear me fine through my galaxy s9 when I communicate via speakerphone or bluetooth headset . Otherwise, I sound garbled.

  1. Does anyone else experience this?

  2. Can anyone explain how this is possible? (If the mic works for speakerphone, why not for normal communications?)
