Berfy is fantastic

But holy crap it makes the phone a barbell lol. There is no way I can take this phone running now hahaha. My short will fall down with the weight of this phone.

Case is fantastic though, just wondering if the front screen hinge will scratch the phone though.

I normally always go caseless on my phones but for this Trifold I just feel it's not a good idea to do that hahaha.

How's everyone's berfys experience so far.

Cover Screen Protector

Does every Trifold model come with the cover screen pre-applied. Mine either didn't or it's perfectly laid over the glass. I would pick at the corners to see but I thought I'd ask first. I have a PET film over it now.

I ordered mine in the "final" batch of sales.

Set outer display home screen rotation disabled and main display home screen rotation enabled?

Is this possible?

The quick settings rotation is enabled. Settings > Home screen > Rotate home screen = disabled. I want to be able to enable the rotate home screen setting when the main screen is open.

Modes and routines can't control this setting.

Is there an adb command or Good Lock way that I've missed?

Outer Screen Protector Cracking Easily?

Has anyone else had their glass screen protector crack easily on the TriFold? I'm on my third one after some pretty minor drops. At first I figured it was doing its job, but now I'm wondering if the phone's weight is putting extra stress on the protector, or if it's just a quality issue. The 3-pack I bought on Amazon only had 6 reviews, and one of them specifically mentioned cracking easily, so that's not encouraging. Still on my other phones, even the Fold 6, I never had the outer screen protector crack on me.

Another thing worth noting: I kept the factory screen protector on and installed the glass one on top. After replacing it a few times, I noticed some bubbles forming under the factory protector, probably from the repeated removal (just the upper corner). It's not too bad, but it got me wondering: for those of you using a glass screen protector on the outer screen, did you remove the factory plastic one first?

UI 8.5 and air drop

Received 8.5 on my trifold and was excited to try the air drop functionality with my iPhone. I have all the settings right but it's not seeing my iPhone. I also have the S26U and mirrored settings is seeing the iPhone just fine. Anyone else with a trifold try this out and were successful?

Berfy Front Screen Protector Cracked

After more than a month (out of return window) the Berfy front screen protector is cracked and broken. Dont recall any kind of drop but I guess something must have happened. The phone was protected and not damaged but the case is ruined. Does anyone know if I can get a new front screen protector with right side hinge protection that is compatible with the Berfy back case, which I love? Everything on Amazon comes with a back case that I don't need.

Samsung may be considering integrating a built-in S Pen and slot into the TriFold2, similar to a Galaxy Note, as demonstrated by leaked patent

For those that didn't know, I'm actually 4 days late to this rumor, so I apologize if you're just now seeing this. Just wanted to make sure this rumor is really credible, and right now it is looking pretty valid.

That being said, we're not really sure if this idea would come to fruition with the final release of the TriFold2, but it's definitely under consideration by Samsung.

Basically the way this would work is that the S Pen would slide into the device through the slot located at the hinge area, rather than going beneath the ultra-thin screen. My guess on why it would be like this is to prevent any interference with the rumored digitizer layer that Samsung could also be integrating into the TriFold2, which could make the device itself a tad bit thicker. Well obviously they need this because how else would the S Pen work lol.

Assuming all this information is true, this may of course crank up the price of the TriFold2, but it would also make it a truly, ultra-premium device, and Samsung's first-ever foldable to rock a built-in S Pen and slot.

Best keyboard to install?

I love this phone beyond belief but wow I hate the keyboard.

What keyboard are you all using instead of stock? I don't care if it's free or not I need something better lol

Disable AI Select?

How do you disable AI select from the edge panel? I noticed on One UI 8.5, you're unable to hold down on the edge panel side bar to reposition it. I want to lower the position so i can reach it. Now when you long press, AI select takes over the entire screen.

8.5 update changes?

Is there a list somewhere of all the changes 8.5 brings? So far I see the super slick option of being able to assign specific sim for data, text and calls separately. The browser gave me 3 options for displaying open tabs, keyboard looks different (I hate it), new icon at the top right for cell service. Quick settings has more space between selections. Search bar at the bottom of app drawer. Not sure what else changed. Edit: all the app icons "pop" more. It's subtle but looks good

Thinking about parting with my Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold 512GB

This is honestly by far the coolest phone I’ve ever owned. I hate parting with it, but I just can’t justify having it and not using it all the time since I still use my iPhone more often.

The phone is in perfect condition, original, and comes as a complete set. I only used it on around five different occasions, mostly for events where I wanted to show it off to people. Every single time it became the center of attention. This thing genuinely feels like a piece of history and one of the most impressive devices Samsung has ever made.

I’m also curious where people usually move devices like this safely without dealing with crazy marketplace fees or risky platforms. Would love to hear experiences from other foldable enthusiasts.

Still debating whether to keep it or let it go, but I wanted to share it with people who actually appreciate devices like this.

Anyone having popping lifting sound on the inner screen?

I just noticed that when I press the screen near where the inner screen folds it feels like a lifting screen sound, like a sticky tape lifting if it makes sense. This only occurs once in a while after unfold the phone. The screen itself is perfect with no issues, but I am just a bit concerned as I imported this thing and for any warranty it's basically a 6 hour international flight away? Also, I was playing with a demo trifold and I noticed that in the display the way the trifold snap back was more pronounced than mine. I think I must be paranoid. Lol.

Continue Apps While Folding!

We finally have the option to continue Apps started on the main screen, over to the outside cover screen with One UI 8.5.

One UI 8.5 finally dropped today. However..

I have to ask, I don't know if it's just me, but before the update, my phone had more available RAM. It went from an average of 7.5-8.0 GB RAM being available before the update to about 5.0-5.5 GB RAM being available, even after using the "clean now" option. Did that happen to anyone else?
