Is BSc Biotech (4yrs) worth it from galgotias ??
I have a friend who's taking admission in galgotias for a 4yrs Bsc biotech course, the fee is fine but the hostel fee is a bit expensive. The main concern is that paying that much will be beneficial after the degradation of galgotias' image due to past incidents or not
If any senior can please guide on the campus life and educational support n all then it'll be a very great help
This is the fee structure shared :-
B.Sc. (Honors with Research) Biotechnology (4-Year Track)Tuition Fee: ₹70,000 per annum.Exam Fee: ₹20,000 per annum.Medical Insurance: ₹650 per annum.Caution Money: ₹2,000 (One-time, refundable).Student ID Card: ₹1,000 (One-time).Estimated Total Academic Cost: Approx. ₹2.80 Lakhs to ₹3.46 Lakhs total over 4 years

Placements Query
Do good product based companies come for btech cse...
And good opportunities and all
NEED ADVICE FROM SENIORS 🙏
I had a low rank in JEE Mains (general, female, homestate), I'm considering ECE at GCET Noida (the best option I have for my rank) and would love to hear honest experiences from seniors.
How are the placements? I know top-tier core companies come less often even in IITs/NITs, but is it still manageable to get good opportunities after graduation or do I have to do masters also in order to land a good job in a core company.
I keep hearing that ECE is tough (+aktu), but If I stay consistent, study regularly, do you think I can manage a good CGPA without burning out? And if midway I decide I don’t want to continue with ECE and instead shift to CSE (or another booming field later), will I still have time to keep up with my ECE studies (for CGPA) while also learning CSE/IT skills?
If I do stick with ECE, besides GATE or government jobs, what other career paths or opportunities are there like jobs right after B.Tech in a core company?
Also, how is the faculty and labs for the ECE department? I've heard some people say that they don't give internal marks but I'm not sure if that's true.
Lastly, if you could give one piece of advice to your first-year self what would it be? It could be anything, academics, internships, coding, placements, clubs, networking, or college life in general. Anything you wish someone had told you when you started college.
Thanks in advance :))))

Admission Query
Actually, I spoke with one of the university's representatives. They asked me to bring all my documents for verification, after which they will issue my offer letter on the spot. I will also need to pay ₹25,000 along with 50% of the first-year hostel fees at that time.
Given that everything will be completed during my visit, do you think I should simply proceed with it? If so, is there really any point in going through the online registration process beforehand?
Incoming fresher here — need the real tea on girls hostel 👀
Hi all! Planning to join this year and trying to get the honest, unfiltered picture on hostel life before I commit — not just the brochure version. If you’re currently there or have stayed in the hostel before, please spill everything:
Is the hostel generally strict or pretty chill? what’s the curfew on weekdays vs weekends, and do they actually enforce it strictly? If we want to stay elsewhere for the night (friend’s place, family, etc.), what’s the actual out-pass process, and how much advance notice do they need? Do you need permission get every single time, or is a quick sign-out enough? Do they call home for every out-pass or overnight request, or can we sort it ourselves ? And how’s the hostel food? how’s the building itself? Clean, decent wifi, water supply, etc.? And are wardens pretty chill and friendly?
solve my ADMISSION query plz
how and where to pay the seat locking fees after getting the offer letter?
