Gambit has been played or banned in every EMEA and every NA Ignite match since his release, without exception. He is still picked or banned in 90% of games Cel+, probably a similar number in GM. This hero is still extremely good. The fact that he now has a semblance of competition for "best support in the game" in the form of Rocket and Luna (often Mantis as well) doesn't mean he's weak, or needs buffs, or that he's been over-nerfed. Please understand that the issues you may be experiencing with this character as an OG Gambit player are not a sign that he is bad. You cannot honestly make an argument that he is not (at least) a top 3 support in absolutely any comp. In other words, he is better than nearly the entire support roster in every single situation, and is within inches of the other two. Gambit is still good, he's only now beginning to reach a point where he's balanced as opposed to being the pick/ban hero he was previously, since release. The fact that it is SOMETIMES better to play another hero doesn't mean he's bad or weak, and it definitely doesn't mean he needs buffs. If you find yourself wishing for buffs, please remember that Gambit is still better than 90% of the support roster, and at least 90% of the entire roster in general. It's been a fun 8 months of uncontested absolute domination, but it's finally time to accept that other heros deserve their time in the spotlight.

-and above all else that hate is that gave him 250 health

The fact that a character have this many nerfs and people still call him broken because his ult is becoming ridiculous at this point. Because the ult is the only thing that’s great about him now and even then if u focus him with a solo ult (Emma and strange the best but there are more), grab or cc him he dies easily especially since they nerfed the healing overtime so his chance of survival is low. People who still complain are just lazy or bad at this point.

This also speaks to how bad the devs are balancing the right things on a character. In the beginning I couldn’t understand the nerfed healing I thought it was unnecessary but when it came to the dmg buff I see why it happened because the 1v1 potential was insane. But the 250 health was 100% bullshit in my opinion.

You give 250 to an aggressive healer who has to be in the mix to get the best results (using anti heal, knockback, or cleansing his team) but Sue, Luna and CnD have better survival abilities and they get to keep their 275 health along with better self healing, protection and Luna dmg buff that can 2 tap.

I’m a Gambit main but I’m REALLY struggling. While I have fun playing Rivals I don’t consider myself a good player at all, but I do try very hard. I feel like I get a lot more healing out of other supports than Gambit but he’s my favorite and I feel like I’m doing everything I can, my co-healers always get a lot more heals than me. I know he’s still getting banned frequently but his neutral game is so terrible now. I used to be able to handle dives quite well but now he just feels terrible. I’m still pretty good with him but I rather just play on white fox since my teams rarely peel.
