FINAL TOTAL PRICE: RM11242.00

seeking advice from our experienced folks on whether this is a good price based on the build, or should i shop around more?

a few things to note: i have strong preference on having the current ryzen mobo (i wanted 9800, but they don’t stock it on their site) and am not likely to downgrade it. i’m also considering whether to swap out the noctua cooler for an ID fx360 AIO, which will add another rm150 for the build. A technician has informed me that if i do that, they’d also throw in an extra fan to put at the back for free.

Appreciate the thoughts and opinions from everyone!

Need help wkth purchasing RAM from Facebook Marketplace

Found someone selling a Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM with RGB 16 GB 3200 MHz selling for around RM550. Call me a skeptic but is there like a test to determine whether the RAM is legit or not?

Adding extra heatsink + used fan to current gpu Asus Prime non oc RTX 5070 Ti

Since this gpu model has an expose heatsink opening at the rear backplate, i got an idea adding more heatsink + used fan to dissipate the heat even more?
Is this a good idea, bad or excessive? What do you guys think?

Any brand is preferred actually.

First PC build for 3D work & gaming

Hellooo! Just wanted to ask some opinions about these pre-built PCs online.

But,I wanted to build my own so I'm using these as blueprints & compare the prices. Which built is suitable for my work which is graphic design? I do casual 3D work as well (not rendering a full anime scene). Also, I do play triple A games.

Which parts I should switch out? Should I go for 16GB or 32 GB RAM? (maybe I should sell my first born for RAM prices these days...)

Budget around MYR 4-6K. Appreciate the help in advance!

I'm using Time internet and have been using the provided router. I do notice slow downs on my wifi and when searching online found the Flint 2 router. I am wondering if anyone from Malaysia has used this and how do they find it.

Legion Pro 7i × Llano v10 × Laptop Arm Mount

Hello reader, I made a helluva rookie mistake of initially posting this on the "Images & Video" tab sans text and unfortunately my lengthy writeup was wiped from the "Text" tab 😵 I've since recollected my thoughts so here's take two.

If you're still on the fence about setting up both laptop and the v10 cooling pad on a mounted laptop tray (gasp!), then this post is for you! Here are some personal notes and observations on the current configuration:

  1. The metal VESA tray measures at 305 mm x 254 mm and includes two hardly audible 5V fans.
  2. The arm holds up to 9 kg, with both laptop and cooling pad weighing at +/- 4.2 kg.
  3. The lower tray lip is only 15 mm, so for added measure I've added binder clips to prevent both the v10 and ...my Precious... from plummeting into the fiery depths of Mount Doom.
  4. There's a small gap between the tray and the v10, providing proper airflow to the cooling pad's fan.
  5. To my pleasant surprise, the laptop’s long foot pad lines up perfectly along the v10’s upper sealing foam (see pic).
  6. The seal is also maintained on the opposite end where the laptop rests against the v10's flip tabs.
  7. When not gaming, the laptop runs in quiet mode and is connected to an external monitor at 144Hz, with HDR enabled via DP. The v10 is set to 1000 rpm with a faint hum.
  8. Average temps from HWiNFO in this environment are as follows:
    • CPU Core 41°C
    • CPU Package 44°C
    • dGPU 38°C
    • iGPU 38°C

Overall, I'm happy with the v10 with the sealing foam making all the difference. I hope you'll find this useful and feel free to comment or question.

TL;DR it just works!

Any Shopee Veterans in here need your opinions

Compared to days like 7.7, or any same day same month and pay-day deals which one gives the better deals. I could have sworn I saw XDATA XPG Spectrix D35G 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz for around RM515. Which is still expensive due to A.I but still with 7.7 upon us the most I've seen it go low to about RM640 or RM586 (but 2 sticks of 8 GB DDR4 of the same brand).

Is it cause of pay-day or end of month deals are better or RAM prices going up?
