3rd 7 Pro, 2 failed, the white edition I got lasted 2 days, today when I went to game, did the weirdest thing.

Was in constant D Pad up mode so could not even get into any games from the dashboard.

Decided to problem solve, 1st thing 1st, run a calibration, solved nothing, but the D pad issue is sort of resolved. Go in game and now my controller has right stick drift even on a 2 setting, which my 6 month old black is on 0 with no drift.

Was all working fine yesterday, so I get my other controller, when I unplug the white, the left rumble motor is constantly spinning. This goes away as soon and I plug it back in, rumble is a non issue. Go to problem solve and do a full factory restore with the hidden factory hard rested button on the rear, I do this without the cable plugged in, rumble stops for 1 second, starts again.

So back to the shop, box it all up, it is still rumbling in the box, when I take it out at the store, no longer rumbling, I have poor hearing but the CS could hear it.

They checked on their pc and saw right stick drift, plugged in dongle and that would not connect.

Offered me an exchange and I opted for a refund, so I have had 40% failure rate of 5 joypads, T7 Pro and TE still work fine, of 3 G7 Pros, 2 failed so that's 66% failure rate.

I would expect a product to be working for longer than 2 days, but the high failure rates of this model, must be just a me thing.

Done with Gamesir, just not acceptable with the same product.

Hey guys. I just bought my first Gamesir. A GameSir G7 Pro Aimlabs Edition Controller - (Xbox PC) to use with my Xbox Galaxy edition.

I haven't gotten it yet.

Of course this will be a wired connection.

I'm just wondering if the cable that comes with it is decent. I see on the Gamesir site that you can buy a braided cable. Is this advisable? Thanks.

So I ran into this issue on my brand new Legion Go. My controllers were only working in Legion Space app but not in games.
I tried checking FPS button, I tried resetting both controllers by pressing on the small pin on each controllers.
Without going too much into what didn’t work. I will write what worked for me.

First I noticed that inside Legion Space> Controllers
It said “D-input “ which was my first clue as it should be saying “X-input” which is the standard compatible mode for majority of games.

So I knew that I have to somehow change it into X-input here’s what I did step by step-

1. Turn off the Legion Go completely.
   Press the small Volume Up button while turning it on.
2. Select System Recovery.
   3.Select Troubleshoot.
3. Select Advanced Options.
4. Select Startup Settings.
5. Press Restart.
6. On the Startup Settings screen, press 4 to boot into Safe Mode.

Once Windows finished booting into Safe Mode, simply restart the Legion Go normally.

That was literally all I had to do.

After rebooting:
The controllers started working again.
Windows navigation worked normally.
Days Gone detected the controller.
Dying Light 2 detected the controller.
Everything was back to normal.

I believe the Legion controller service or the XInput driver somehow got stuck. Booting into Safe Mode forced Windows to reinitialize the controller stack, and after a normal reboot everything started working again.

Hopefully this helps someone else before they waste hours troubleshooting, reinstalling Windows, or returning their Legion Go like I almost did.

Sooo, I left my console open and the controller and the headphones and all that, but when I came back, suddenly the sound was gone. I noticed that if I tried to hold on “M” and press “+” on the D-pad the high limit sound was appearing, and WHEN I DID THIS THE SOUNDS CAME BACK: hold on “M” then press the left arrow on the d-pad ( a plus inside a controller icon).

I have a Gamesir G7 Pro, and my first impression was that it was good except for the d-pad and buttons, which were not silent. It's disappointing given how much I paid.

My other console controller is quieter than this controller.

Any ideas on how to make the G7 Pro buttons silent?

I've heard that this Tarantula version will be wireless and I've been looking forward to getting it. I've always look for symmetrical sticks controller with clicky buttons

What’s the best g7 controller you can buy? Thinking about buying g7 for all the features since I play mainly fps, thinking of getting either g7 or scuf returning my razer raiju v3 cause of input delay. I know I gotta get the adapter just wondering how people like and compare them

Is anyone else confused or unsure why there aren’t a ton of after market vendors making faceplates for the g7 pro? I feel like this controller was made to customize considering how easy it is to swap the plates out. Why is there like zero manufacturers making cool plates for these?

I was expecting to go on google and finding an overwhelming amount of custom designs but there’s literally nothing. Any thoughts on that?
