Hey everyone, looking for any extraction shooter players? Recent ga I’ve been hearing lot of good things about SANDS: Raiders of Sophie and the gameplay looks fun too. Escape from Tarkov etc. I’ve never played them before but most of my friends are on PS, Friends slop games adataniki kuda nak problem ledhu but I’ve been really wanting to play these extraction shooter games. This game is beautiful. Not just the visuals, the story too! It surprisingly has excellent voice acting that feels like real people talking to each other. This is very important in a game like this cause all the story is about two people talking to each other over a walkie talkie.

I like how the first 5 min of the game is just a plain text and I can already feel the emotions just from that. It makes you feel for both the protagonists: Henry and Delilah, who are two people working on the firewatch lookout. We get to experience through Henry how beautiful their bond develops slowly. You can't help but get invested as the story progresses. And not to forget the visuals are breathtaking! Can't believe this game was released a decade ago.

For anyone wondering this is a walking simulator game with a beautiful story. Its on summer sale rn for just 176. And the game is short and simple (4hrs) yet very beautiful. It put a smile and tear in my face by the end. I hope we get more games like these in the future.

Some good open world / some interesting ones

I think everyone here is aware of the atrocious news of 'physical disc support will not be available for games coming from '28'. Sony kicked us in the nuts too hard with this one.

They first nailed the screw to us with the increase in PS Plus subscription and then screwed tightly with this announcement. We're fucked.

FYI, I also heard that xbox's project helix too won't have a disc drive... So we're truly in the end game, now.

I guess all big corporate companies' sole slogan/motto now is "you will own nothing and enjoy it"

I got my PS5 digital edition literally 3 months back and got disc drive 3 weeks ago hoping to unsubscribe ps plus and get in the world of disc.

Here's what I'm planning to do moving forward:

1. I won't plan to subscribe ps plus unless and until if I want to play a specific game which is available in catalogue and intend to finish it in that month.

2. I plan on buying the new and used discs for upcoming '27 games till the year end, if any. And also older games which I haven't played or want to re-visit.

3. Will never purchase digital games on day 1 or month 1. Will only purchase digital unless they are atleast - 20% off sale.

I'm not a big of a collector but I'll keep the discs of games that I like to revisit now and often.

I have a midrange gaming laptop, so I'll keep on claiming free games from epic games and will purchase low to mid end games on sale from steam, epic games.

I'm planning to use this PS5 for 5-7 years in future even they announce PS6 soon, unless they cutoff the support just like they're doing for PS4.

Also, for the ones who bought PS5 disc variants and disc drives recently, don't regret your decision. Y'all bought the consoles for gaming purpose and keep on gaming with any means necessary.

Following this date, new games will be available on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only. This transition has no impact on games that already released, or will be releasing, prior to January 2028 in disc format.

This is a natural direction for Sony Interactive Entertainment to adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs. This transition will enable us to align more closely with how most of our community prefers to access and play games today."

With GTA 6 releasing without a physical disc and now Sony announcing there won't be anymore physical discs in the coming years, they're literally taking the ownership right from the gamers and making p*racy more and more legit. Fuck Sony 10000 times.
