GATE Mechanical

Please tell me everything about it's syllabus, which coaching is the best, and other points to note. Really new to it. Youtube has way too much info. I urge the toppers to guide a newbie where to go. (Not my branch)

Exergic vs ACE Academy for GATE 2027 Mechanical - which is actually better for online prep?

Preparing for GATE ME 2027 and confused between Exergic and ACE Engineering Academy [ online courses (recorded) ].

Looking for honest reviews regarding:

  • Teaching quality
  • Test series
  • Doubt support
  • Online experience
  • Overall value for serious GATE prep

Would appreciate feedback from people who actually used either of them.

Practice ME Gate PYQ in "Ditto" Gate Exam Interface

Best Feature, after every exam completion, you can retry your mistake i.e whatever in that exam you have given wrong and unanswered you can attempt which makes your practice much stronger

And many students ignore the visual stamina, as per my experience while giving gate exam i felt the eye strain and felt that i am loosing concentration, as i am not used to constantly glare at white screen that to for 3 hours, so i thought why not practice pyq in gate exam interface

we practice as well as build our visual stamina

NTPC VS DVC

Which one is better by keeping some factors in mind like,

  1. 8th Pay commission (DVC won)

  2. Location of final posting or transfer (DVC won)

  3. In hand salary difference (DVC Won approx 20k+ during and after training )

  4. NTPC edge over DVC in terms of Organised Colony

  5. Work load or work life balance (DVC won)

  6. PRP is more in NTPC

  7. Allowance is more in NTPC

  8. Promotions are likely to be the same in both

  9. Both are having shift work

  10. In the medical facility, DVC also has tied up with big hospitals in West Bengal and Jharkhand and also in Delhi and Patna with unlimited medical insurance to self as well as depended members

  11. 2 days off at DVC after night shift

No one tracks real COAP cutoffs each round, so I made a form — please share your offers and help future aspirants

Share your GATE score & COAP offers — let's build a resource for everyone! 📊**

Every year, hundreds of us scramble to figure out — *"Will my score get me into X IIT for Y specialization?"* The frustrating part? There's barely any centralised, reliable data on actual COAP cutoffs and offer trends.

So I built a form to fix that.

🔗 **https://form.jotform.com/261312143543042**

**What it collects:**

- Your GATE paper, score & AIR

- Category (GEN / OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PwD)

- Round-wise COAP offers received (Round 1 to Round 5) — institute, programme, specialization, and status

- Whether you accepted, rejected, or are waitlisted — and why

**Why should you fill it?**

If even 50–100 people share their data, we'll have a real picture of:

✅ Which IITs are offering at what AIR ranges

✅ How offers shift across rounds

✅ Category-wise trends

✅ Which specializations are more accessible

This helps future GATE aspirants — especially those from 2025 and 2026 — make smarter, more informed decisions during counselling.

**It takes less than 3 minutes. Name and email are completely optional.**

Once we get enough responses, I'll compile and share the data publicly after every round completes on this subreddit so everyone benefits.

response link: https://www.jotform.com/tables/261312143543042

Please upvote and share this with your GATE WhatsApp groups, college seniors/juniors, and anyone going through COAP right now. The more data we collect, the more useful this becomes for everyone 🙏
