After waiting about a month to get my SD 11.5” upper re-barreled by Geissele I was finally able to shoot it today. Man what a soft shooter. I’m a big fan of the balance and quality of the upper overall. It was worth the wait/price tag for me.
Got my new blem stripped upper! The first of my PA Blemula purchases this year that I need to finish my G$ complete upper project. I love where they put the Count!
I bought the Luna Black version by mistake and from what I’ve read it’s supposed to be a slightly more glossy finish. But this seems to match my blem lower I got last year. I’m perfectly happy with it. I just think I got the standard black.
I also got a blem 15” Super Mod Rail. It’s been over four days and still listed as “Pending Fulfillment”. Hoping there’s not a problem with the order. Probably normal.
Bought a SCH for a 11.5 build im doing but decided to move it to SD 16” with LPVO. Just works better with LPVO there.

I have my 16” SD build set up for more precision and I am planning on putting a red dot mounted on top of the scope. I also have my 10.3” fankenbuild with an atrius frs in it for my cqd style training. Any recommendations for barrel lengths that might fill any gaps in application or training? Or should move onto a different caliber like 6 arc or an ar10? I am also planning on a hux suppressor down the road.
Got a DDC ACH from the blem sale, but this isn’t a blem. It’s USED. Did anyone else get used blems??

Add the parts in cart and its about 1750 before tax and shipping using a conplete Geissele lower build.... is a URGI build worth to put together this way or better to get a complete upper and just build the lower? Or do this with a superduty instead? Not sure when completes will be in stock at a good price so weighing my options
Finally splurged and started a 12.5” super duty build. How did I do? Not much available for the count Blemula sale this year. Any recommendations for optics or suppressors? Thinking of doing a Unity 4x FTC with maybe an AEMS or EOtech.. or maybe LPVO with 12 o clock dot? I don’t have any suppressors currently but planning on getting a couple. Thinking huxwrx 556k, rhodie 6/6K, maybe a 3rd. Need some assistance deciding please.

Got the approval on my Hux flow 556ti. Ran about 120 rounds through it at the range and was very impressed. hearing safe running 75 grain and zero gas in the face. Tone was interesting like you can hear the supersonic crack but it’s all out in front away from shooter’s ear and seemed delayed. Recoil pretty much nonexistent. Think I’m about done with this setup, loving my 14.5 SD!
I have been waiting and waiting to find a decent deal on a 11.5” super duty upper in ddc, and there’s none at the moment. I have a 35% shot show coupon for their website, but I doubt they’re going to restock them before the end of the month. Should I hold out and try to find a decent deal later, (I’m not paying over 2k for a super duty) or just go ahead and get the BCM MK2 upper and something like a complete Sabre lower and have money left for an eotech? All opinions and thoughts are welcome.
PA has it for 1249. Is this worth getting or should I wait for a better deal?

New to AR-15’s and obviously to Geissele. Pretty set on grabbing an 11.5 SD as my first. Just learned about shot show, etc. Following prevailing advice, went on eBay and bought a coupon over the weekend. Will it get here on time should G$ release inventory? Was I ripped off for $2.95? Who knows.
