I'm so tilted and pissed off over this. I don't want to send any hate to anyone but it's so frustrating.
Since last year and arguably 2024 Kiin has been outperforming Zeus for 95% of the year. I struggle to see what the argument in favor of Zeus was or what the criteria is. Regardless of Kiin's loss in First Stand and his slow start this split he overall just seems like the far better choice for the Asia games.
Hopefully he can win worlds this year and go out in a big explosion at least.

literally what more did you ever want him to do. Sometimes i just wish he could ever have a little more luck. I'm genuinely holding back tears rn. I can't believe we cant have kiin after this year (he has to report by 28 so he cant play from next year mostly - the age system is diff so 2 more years max). He has put so much hardwork into his sport - no matter who he is teammates were he has been a solid player since the start of his career. And then when finally there is chance for him to atleast play on for longer, you say - MSI, EWC and FS is not taken.

I'm Done. I need a break from this community. On an average day, an average viewer is rooting against my team for simply trying their best. And when it comes to getting rewarded for their hard-work by the authorities, the head coach decides to do just whatever.
Not as GenG fan but just as a human, this is absolutely heart breaking for kiin. Irrespective of the results this year - I hope we can make it memorable for him by atleast by being more vocal about our love and appreciation for him.

Canyon has been selected jungler of Korea National Team for Asian Games.
Chovy has reportedly been dealing with chronic hip joint pain since last year. According to sources, the symptoms recently worsened, leading him to focus on treatment and recovery.
I started following and playing League in early 2021, when Canyon was on Damwon. Arguably, that's peak Canyon, the player who made me fall for the jungle role. He was so smart around vision, had flashy plays, used to be a driving force for Damwon's success. He is the reason I started supporting GenG after all, since I was so hyped when he joined. The simple question is: what happened to him? From Nidalee, Kayn, Karthus, Lee Sin (imo his 2nd best champ, just below Nida), he transitioned into a tank jungler due to the meta a while ago, and now he seems to have lost his edge. No more aggression, no more game winning plays. Yes, he is reliable on Skarners or Jarvans, but i miss old Canyon. At least that's how i see it, maybe i am wrong, but besides a slump or dip in form every now and then, i feel that he has lost his spark and his game-defining playstyle that put him in the GOAT jungler conversation.
What do you guys think? Is it because of the meta and changes to the game in the past few years? Is it because he has become a facilitator to Chovy and Ruler? Is it because junglers have adapted eventually to his playstyle?
T1 shenanigans wins the game. What an absolute disaster from GenG in game 3, this doesn't change much anyways. Hopefully team can learn from this game 3. GG T1 !
Good mental from the boys, to at least try to salvage the game after T1 was up 10k gold, Canyon kinda threw before elder sadly.
On a side note, Peyz has been such an upgrade for T1.
T1 win in game 2, but it was probably the best game in LCK this year. Peyz absolute monster performance. We're going to game 3.
Canyon with a quiet masterclass game, and Kiin looks like it's back on form.

Such a strong showing from every player. If we get this chemistry and pace against T1 on Saturday, then KT might be in danger of not getting back into 2nd place.

BFX started off well, but then completely threw the game during that Herald fight, after which GEN's team comp just took over the game and nothing could be done to salvage it.

Gen.G now has a 1 game lead over KT. 19-8 vs. 18-8. I hope they can keep this up and keep winning 2-0 against everyone to make some separation from KT.
