It's not new but omg, it sure drives like it. Love this car and only has 29,000 Miles.

Hi all! I am looking into getting out of my lease a few months early with possible trade in. I have heard that there are different quotes given as to whether it is a personal buyout or third party dealer payoff... Can anyone vouch for this? With some research, I have a negative equity of about $2k - but have heard the GF buyout quote includes taxes & fees that may make that number higher than what it would be for ac third party dealer. Don't want to get my hopes up, but this would be great for me to get out of my lease.
TLDR - Has anyone traded in a Genesis lease early? Is the dealer payoff different from the personal buyout amount?
Apologies, I'm going to ask the question that countless people have asked. There's mixed feedback here.
I am experiencing no issues (CPO ~30k miles), but know that replacing the rear diff fluid with this fluid is recommended. I am fully under warranty and do not want to risk voiding it at all, so is there a risk?
Also, is there a risk that the act of changing the fluid will possibly result in issues?
I'm tempted to not fix what isn't broken...but post history here regarding rear diffs is messing with my brain.
Thanks!
I like the increased engine health they provide but I know they can actually be hot air intakes if you get the wrong one so what do yall run?
I like the intakes that have lights that continue the headlight design but obv functionality > form
Found myself a ‘23 CPO with 25k miles… love it already
Hey everyone! For the past few months of car shopping I have been torn between a 2017+ BMW 540i and a 2023+ Genesis G70 3.3T. I recently drove a 540i that was Stage 2, and that thing moved.
Before I make a decision, I am wondering if anyone has a 3.3T on JB4 or even an ECU flash around Huntsville, AL (or even like Nashville, Birmingham, etc.). I’d be willing to drive a little way either for a ride along in your car or if you’d be comfortable with it, a little test drive. I’d really appreciate it!
Replaced the Genesis lettering with a Genesis winged badge from https://www.BoostedWhipz.com
what are y’all thoughts?
Garbage Interstate in TN costed me two tires but luckily there was a shop that was able to put on new ones in like ten minutes
So I'm planning on tuning. I don't like the price of Lap3 ($1500) when I can buy an ek1 then sleepy tune the ecu and tcu for the same price.
Is Lap3 That much better? Is JB4 lacking compared to sleepy ? What are the other tunes the community is running since I hear that KJT is no longer tuning. Is there anywhere I can have the tune flashed without buy the ek1 (I'm in nj)
Forced into the market by a freak accident robbing me of my beloved Mazda6 (15 Touring Manual, Soul Red/Almond) insurance paid out $7,200 so I took the lemons and made lemonade. New to me is this beautiful 19 3.3t Design in Black Forest Green with Cream interior. 63k on the odo, bought for $23,495. Been driving it constantly for the last three days and I am head over heels in love.
I have a cracked front bumper and a cracked front windshield. They both occurred on 2 separate instances/incidents. What are the chances of me getting State Farm to believe it happened all in one incident? No the crack can’t be filled or repaired the window needs to be replaced. So can I do this all in one claim and what will I have to say happened??? Also what will happen if they come to the conclusion both did not happen in the same incident…then what? I get dropped? Or they just tell me to do it over but separate?
I don’t feel like this is scamming although I know some will see it as such. Never wrecked a vehicle in my life and this is only my 2nd claim I’ve ever had to make in my driving career ( 12+ years)
If you must know the reality is the bumper got cracked from random debris sitting in the road and the window was the case of an unfortunate rock chip that spread.
I love this car but let’s be honest. My friends hate the back seat, my girl hates the leg room in the passenger seat. It could be faster. It could be more comfortable. It could have a responsive and reasonable service department but.. Throw it into sport+ and find a nice U-turn or drive it to work and get there 5 min early. I LOVE MY CAR.
The G70 has just come onto my radar in the last few days and I had to test drive a couple to see what they're all about. I admit that I have some bias against Hyundai/Kia with all of their highly publicized issues in the last 10 years, but wanted to give the G70 a fair shot. I'm also growing tired of finding nice deals on BMWs only to learn that they are totally stripped down and have fewer niceties than a loaded Honda Accord.
Other cars I've test driven recently: BMW I4, BMW 430i, Alfa Romeo Giulia
What I drive now: Volvo V60 T5
I drove a 2.5T RWD first. It was remarkably smooth and quiet for a larger 4-cylinder engine. Power came easily and there is plenty of torque for everyday driving. It has a lot more punch than the 2.0 turbo in my Volvo, the BMW, and the Alfa Romeo. Merging onto the highway was relatively effortless and it seemed to have plenty of power. Maybe it was the particular car I drove, but the rear view mirror seemed to vibrate on the highway. Anyone else experience this? Otherwise, the car felt plenty agile and I could see it being very easy to live with on a daily basis.
Next up was a 3.3TT RWD. It was noticeably more throaty and coarse upon startup. I know it's the sporty option, but I wasn't quite expecting that. We took it out on the same route as the 2.5T. I punched it getting on to the highway and did a couple 60-80 runs once on the highway. This is a properly fast car. Not just quick-ish or zippy, but properly fast. I am officially middle-aged and am a pretty boring driver most of the time. This car would get me into trouble and I don't really have a good reason to get the V6. I still want one though. If nothing else, it would get me a HUD and the 360 cameras, which are great. Anyone else get the V6 even if they didn't need it?
Other thoughts:
So I’m pretty new to this drifting stuff I have a 2013 Nissan 370 sport touring with the factory vlsd I’m looking to upgrade to a lsd don’t really want to go welded diff route but open to any suggestions. I have recently serviced the VLSD with MOTUL Gear Competition 75w140 Differential Fluid plus z1 diff bushing.
Is doing the Z1 370Z Fully Built & Complete R200 Differential worth it. Would save me a lot of work can spec it out how I want or is it over priced

Picked up my "first" Korean car after saying I would only buy Japanese. Wow is an understatement, I am in absolute fucking love with this car. I have instant buyers regret though not getting the 3.3tt but I purposely bought the 2.0t to curb my enthusiasm. Has anybody done any engine upgrades to the 2.0? I think I'm going to do intake and exhaust system and ecu tune. Thoughts?
So I bought these mats thinking that I have this nasty trademark from the company. I thought they would stay forever from they kept deteriorating when my passengers would use them so I ended up just trying to rip it off and I find the Genesis logo beautifully embroidered under it to my surprise!
