Crinum Ellen Bosanquet Starting to bloom for the year.

This is by far the most reliable bloomer out of the varieties I have. Pretty much indestructible, no pest problems, no care needed except regular water. One of these days I'll get the potted plants in the ground and hopefully they get even larger with free root run.

Massonia Pustulata Advice?

Very new to the amazing world of geophytes, and picked up these two Massonia Pustulata bulbs via an Etsy seller.

(I’ll be attempting to grow them indoors)

I’ve been searching around online for info about potting them and had a few questions:

  1. What pot sizes/depth/material would be best for bulbs of this size?

  2. What potting medium would be appropriate for indoor growing? (I have tons of stuff on hand, including 1/4” & 1/8” pumice, calcined clay, bonsai mixes, large sand, coir, miracle gro cactus mix, etc)

  3. It seems like they’re typically potted like a caudiciform, with the bulb halfway out of the potting medium. Is this correct?
