Dev Update #3: New Trailer and screenshots ! Game progress well.

Hello future players!

I'm happy to share new screenshots and a trailer on the Steam page!

I've received so many good vibes and suggestions about the game, it's really encouraging!

I'm working on it every single day to make the best product I can, and it's coming along really well.

What's new

  • I've been hard at work on the economic engine, and we've reached a solid, stable version that simulates real trade, pricing, inputs and outputs, over centuries.
  • All the main resources are on the map, waiting to be mined, drilled and more, with realistic reserves and logic. Seriously juicy!
  • The world is filled with real people, with families, in every nation, across every party. The political layer is stable with hundreds of parameters, and every population and party reacts to your choices, and the AI's.
  • And so many tiny details that really shape the systems and the world, the kind of thing our niche community loves. For example, oil is a complete simulation of every oil type and extraction technology, so oil in Canada, Venezuela or Qatar isn't the same thing at all! Also system for a full Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) setup for offshore drilling, and more...

Under the hood

  • Performance tests are positive.
  • I've set up the Mac pipeline, so the game will be available on Mac at release.
  • I've integrated the saving system successfully, plus a full range of settings, taking care of every inch of comfort in the game.

I get more and more excited every week watching the game take shape. It's on a very good track to become the dream game I've always wanted to build.

Thanks for being here!

New Organisations

Realistically, how large can a 'new organization' get? (I don't mean when you control other countries, I mean when they are computer controlled) I've never got more than three countries to apply to join.

Eclesiar.com 2.0 - Released!

Hello everyone!

This month, we released Eclesiar 2.0!

Eclesiar is a social MMORPG (that can also be strategy game, depending on the prespective) in which you sign up as a citizen of a country. You can build companies, invest in stock markets, become a politician, serve as a member of Congress or a government minister, or even become president—all through fair elections!

You can also pursue a military career and upgrade your equipment over time, or work as a builder or miner. You can run your own newspaper, join a military unit or political party, and participate in regular weekly tournaments featuring friendly yet competitive wars.

The game is a living world!

So, what is “Eclesiar 2.0”?

Eclesiar 2.0 is a complete front-end overhaul of the game that retains the original server engine while introducing an entirely new look.

AI disclaimer: Eclesiar 2.0 was developed with the assistance of AI. Some images, graphics, and elements of the layout may have been created with its help. However, no server code, game concepts, or gameplay systems were developed by AI. its use was limited to the visual presentation of version 2.0.

I’m sharing a comparison showing the “before” (Eclesiar 1.6) and “after” (Eclesiar 2.0).

For players who prefer not to use AI-assisted content, version 1.6 remains available through the settings page in version 2.0.

We are a small indie development team, just two people, with barely any budget. We would greatly appreciate your support, even if it is simply trying the game and, if you enjoy it, helping us spread the word!

Best regards!

EDIT: forgot to add the link hahahha https://eclesiar.com

Democracy in the game does not provide any bonuses

The only reason to make a country democratic is to join the European Union.

After 90 hours of playing I realized this.

JOIN US PATRIOTS

Join the Indian Community in WARERA

WARERA is a geopolitical strategy game available on the Play Store where nations compete for global dominance. Build your economy, strengthen your military, negotiate alliances, conduct diplomacy, and fight for control of the world map alongside thousands of other players.

Despite being home to over 1.4 billion people, India has only around 200 active players in the game. That means our presence is far smaller than it could be, making it difficult to compete with larger, more organized national communities.

Our goal is simple: grow India's player base. We are not the developers of the game—just a group of players who want to see India become a major power in WARERA.

If you enjoy grand strategy, geopolitics, diplomacy, or military planning, give WARERA a try. Every new Indian player makes our community stronger and increases our ability to influence the world map.

Join us, fight alongside fellow Indians, and help build India's presence in WARERA.

Soft power

Does regularly meeting other heads of state do anything to boost soft power? I've attempted to play as Somalia, more or less every nation on earth has negative relations (trade deals and student exchanges are declined, and the country is too broke to have a dedicated year of culture). Can anything be done to break down hostilities with other countries?
