“Ponyo Meets Little Ponyo’s”

I adopted a corgi puppy and named her Ponyo. She’s inspired me to create art again! This was done in procreate.

Natoru - The Cat Returns [2002] - [By Me]

I recently saw the movie, and Natoru was so adorable I just had to draw him. More coloring practice.

Princess Mononoke Wood Burning

Fan art done by Crow a few years ago. If I recall correctly this was one of his first attempts at adding color to his wood burnings. Its hanging in my hallway right now.

Hand embroidered a Teto patch

I couldn’t pass up the chance to use turkey stitch for Teto’s fur. Now I kind of wish I’d committed and made the entire patch gloriously fuzzy.

I embroidered Teto and an Ohm back in 2024, but I’m glad I came back to give this little fox-squirrel the attention it deserves. Teto is one of my favorite Studio Ghibli creatures and I get to see them in both Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky.

Totoro on a Vietnamese Ao Dai dress, hand-painted by me.

This is linen, and I like the gray color, like Totoro's fur. 😆

Hand embroidered patches of the Baron and Louise

Now the Baron and Louise can finally be reunited! I embroidered the Baron Humbert von Gikkingen a few years ago, and I just finished his sweetheart, Louise. Seeing them together at last makes me so happy.

Retro Blender Anime - Tropical Waves

Work in Progress.
This started this morning with a quick test to try some rolling waves, and they turned out pretty much how I wanted them to, so I decided to tune a little scene around them. This is just a simple loop though, looking forward to doing more with the tropical retro-lofi look soon!
